Avant 860i is compact strong frontiersman

With the new 800 series, the Finnish manufacturer Avant Tecno is once again pushing the boundaries. Thus, the new 860i is not only the most powerful articulated loader, but still very compact. This appeals to users and also at importer Avant Machinery in Sint-Truiden they are very satisfied with it.

The new 860i is the largest and most powerful Avant to date. With a kerb weight of 2.7 tons, this powerhouse still has a lifting capacity of no less than 1.9 tons even in the tilted position. At the same time, it is so compact that it is still easy to transport. This is reflected in the dimensions of the machine with a width, length and height of only 1.5 m, 3.4 m and 2.2 m respectively. Its power comes from its common-rail diesel engine with turbocharger. This Kohler KDI 1903 TCR engine delivers as much as 42 kW (57 hp) of power and fully complies with the current, stringent EU Stage V emission standards. The 860i has the Avant's typical drive with four hydraulic wheel motors and features two travel speeds, with a maximum of 30 km/h.

The substantial lifting height of up to 3.5 m does not compromise safety and stability.

Huge lifting height

That the 860i is capable of great performance can also be seen in its lifting height of up to 3.5 m. This is partly due to the hydraulic telescopic arm, which can be extended by 825 mm. This considerable lifting height enables the loading and unloading of high loads, such as in trucks, mixer feeders and so on. Because of this large lifting height, however, it is necessary to monitor the stability of the load. The machine is therefore equipped with self levelling as standard. The stability of the machine is ensured by a rigid pivot point without pendulum movement.

In addition to the standard ROPS/FOPS open cab, an enclosed GT cab can also be fitted. The compact dimensions make the Avant 860i excellently transportable.

Simple docking

For powering and operating the many attachments available, the Kohler power source provides a hydraulic oil supply of 80 l/min. The 860i is equipped with the Avant quick coupler system. Other quick coupler systems, such as Euro 3, are already optionally available. The hydraulic hoses of the attachments are coupled to the multi-connector, making it very easy to make the hydraulic connection without loss of oil and with one hand movement in all conditions.

Open and closed cabin

In addition to the standard ROPS/FOPS open cab, a closed ergonomic GT cab can also be mounted on the 860i, allowing one to work with the machine in optimal conditions. Not only does this cab isolate vibrations and noise very well, it also provides efficient heating and ventilation and thus greater operator comfort.
