Seguröll is a removable barrier for ponds and pools, consisting of several posts on the one hand and a cloth on the other. Tensioning the cloth between the poles creates a solid, physical barrier that prevents children and pets from accessing the water. Additional tension at the bottom of the cloth also makes it impossible to crawl under the cloth. If no children are present and the barrier is therefore unnecessary, the cloth is simply rolled back into the end posts.

Tensioning the cloth between the poles creates a solid physical barrier.
Seguröll is a modular system consisting of a small number of basic components that can be frequently combined to meet the specific needs of the project.
The cloth is always coiled in a main post and measures 6 or 10 meters as standard. If a longer fence is installed, additional main posts are required. Shorter fences are created by cutting the cloth to size after installation - an essential operation in any installation, by the way.
To achieve sufficient tension along the entire length of the fence, intermediate posts are placed every 3 to 4 meters. They can be fixed or removable, so that the open view when coiled need not be disturbed by the intermediate posts. Intermediate posts can also be used to create right and obtuse corners. Sharp corners are also a possibility, although this requires at least one fixed intermediate post.
Closing the fence is done using an end profile on the canvas and a Seguröll end post or a so-called Wall Lock on an (existing) wall.

For a beautiful finish, the intermediate posts can be galvanized into the patio tiles.
Decisive in the safety of the system, is the installation. Although it is relatively simple and in most cases completed in one working day, it also requires attention to a number of rules of the art. For example, the system cannot be placed on a slope, the start and end poles must be placed in-line (and therefore not on a corner) each time, and each fabric must be sized after installation to ensure proper tension.
Absolutely essential is also the correct anchoring of the system. Because Seguröll is a tensioned system, very large tensile forces can occur. All posts are therefore anchored via a concrete jig and quick-drying concrete in a foundation pit about 50 centimeters deep. If the fence is placed on a terrace, there are two options: either the terrace has a concrete foundation and the posts can be anchored directly to it; or part of the terrace must be broken out and new foundations installed. Intermediate posts can possibly be galvanized into the patio tiles.
To ensure correct installation, the Seguröll team provides support for a minimum of two installations. Afterwards, any garden contractor can work with the system himself.

To adapt the fence to the garden in question, not only straight, but also obtuse and sharp corners can be realized with Seguröll.
Seguröll is a 100% Belgian product. It was developed in 2011 by garden experts David and Joeri Van Hulle from Maldegem, in collaboration with the local product development company Moebius Design. These people are still responsible today for the assembly, which takes place on Belgian soil and with completely Belgian and highly weather-resistant materials. In the meantime, more than one hundred installations have been realized in our country, and recently Segurölls have also been installed across our northern and southern borders.
