This grass valley combines the solidity of concrete versions with the lightness of a synthetic material. The Trafidal 50 is much easier to handle than the concrete versions, making the synthetic alternative much easier to install by hand. 

Synthetic alternative

The TrafiDal 50 grass slab was marketed to provide an alternative to existing concrete grass slabs. The installation of this lightweight grass slab is easier and faster than that of a concrete grass slab, and this without lifting equipment. The placement can therefore be done entirely by hand! 

TrafiDal 50 was specially developed for heavy and intensive traffic. It can withstand loads of more than 500 t/m² and is permanently resistant to intensive maneuvers. The raw material of TrafiDal 50 comes entirely from the recycling sector. The plates can also be recycled again.

Importance of the right plate

To achieve durable rideable areas, one must rely on strong and reliable slabs that can stabilize the grass or gravel over the long term. The use of inappropriate slabs can have serious consequences for both the life of the implemented zone and the productivity of placement.

In both cases, this can lead to significant additional costs, so the product with the lowest square meter price may not necessarily end up being the cheapest solution. 

Quality and nothing else

The quality of a grass or gravel slab is determined, among other things, by the quality of the polyethylene used, but the structure and specific joints of the slabs also determine the lifespan of the product and the area performed. Thus, the Ritterdal's concept, honeycomb structure and selected raw materials have guaranteed a reliable substrate for decades, and that on some five million square meters all over Europe. The UV and freeze resistance of the material are also important criteria. They ensure that the grass and gravel slabs retain their properties in all weather conditions.

A solution for every project

When it comes to installation, the right size, ergonomics and comfort play a major role. Because no two projects are the same, there is a specific solution for every application.

Thus, for small spaces and non-straight surfaces, it is best to work with a small format, such as the original Ritterdal for grass or gravel. When building large parking lots or long driveable paths, on the other hand, you will benefit more from large slabs. The Ritterdal XXL grass panel and the GravelGrid gravel panel allow quick and easy installation in such cases. In this range, the TrafiDal 50 also comes as an additional alternative.
