In 2021, Winsol is launching 3 new sun protection solutions on the market. We are happy to present them internationally through our booth at the digital edition of R+T (February 22 to 25, 2021). Of course, our award-winning products such as the Pergola SO! and SolarFix solar powered screens will also be present at the Winsol stand.
Winsol will have maximum presence at the digital fair thanks to the 'Premium Design Package'. A virtual booth with part of our products (see below), links to the website, videos, images and brochures, chat function and avatars of our sales to dialogue with.
In addition, we compete with our innovations SolarShutter ENG SolarFix also participate in the R+T Innovation Award. Winners will be announced on Feb. 22, Day 1 of the fair.
SolarShutter solar powered shutters are nominated in the 'Roller Shutters' category.. The range of SolarFix solar powered screens in the category ''Cloth awnings'. We also won the Red Dot Design Award with the SolarFix.
This new terrace roof with canvas is available with a pitched roof with integrated rain drain (Z!P) or a flat roof as sun protection with a modern look (Z!P CUBE).
Thanks to the range ambient walls (including outdoor curtains, Ambiente slatted wall, steellook glass wall, wooden sliding wall,...) Winsol pergolas fit any architectural style. Prefer a warmer look? The profiles can also be finished in 1 of the 3 wood-look finishes (oak natural, oak light gray and oak dark brown).
Design is an important aspect of all Winsol products. The Pergola Z!P has a finish with no visible screws, sturdy 90 mm posts for a larger dropout and minute, negligible space between cabinet and wall.
In terms of lighting, we don't disappoint either. Led strips all around with dimmable hot or adjustable hot-cold light. The crossbar not only provides additional stability for large sizes, but can also be equipped with spotlights and led strips as additional direct light or as cozy white or RGB mood lighting.
The Pergola Z!P is operated via Casambi app on smartphone or tablet, or via the illuminated design push buttons in the pole. Furthermore, we can also equip the Z!P with power outlets, usb
charging ports, infrared heating, Bluetooth speakers and rain, wind and sun sensors. As with the Pergola SO! we also proposed option packages (Cosy, Chic and Star) together.
And against the low sun we provide a solar-powered volant-plus! The 2 solar panels were discreetly integrated into the front frame according to the "SolarFix Black Belt" principle. Left and right a solar panel with a black belt as an aesthetic connection between the 2 panels.
The articulated arms of awnings should continually improving due to larger sizes, greater failure rate, heavier cloths and climate change, among other things. This is where Winsol is offering a solution in 2021: 2 new articulated arms with a longer life, more cycles, a higher wind load and 2 led strips in the arm for additional direct illumination.
The 1st arm contains twice as many steel cables compared to the Winsol standard arm. In addition, the cables are also self-lubricating making the folding and unfolding of the awning much smoother and without resistance. In addition to the 4-fold cable arm, the Powerband arm with ''Dyneema' fabric new. The woven plastic in the arm provides a 10x longer lifespan. Both arms are resistant to 6 Beaufort (wind class 3) and applicable to Winsol awnings Squaro, Linasol, Lumisol and Luno.
Furthermore, the new arms also provide a better fabric tension, higher headroom (50 % smaller elbow angle) and its larger spans possible. The optional led lighting in the arm can also be added afterwards (on/off or dimmable warm or adjustable warm-cold white).
The 3rd innovation we present at R+T is the SolarShutter range. This solar powered roller shutters with straight box and 2 integrated solar panels is a sustainable and fast renovation solution. Its design and performance are based on the Winsol SolarFix screens (Red Dot Award Winner 2020).
2 solar panels, 4 Ah battery with large storage capacity, long life, more cycles and 4 design finishes:
- Standard symmetrical: solar panel left and right
- Standard asymmetric: both solar panels to the left or right
- Black Belt: the solar panels are connected to each other via a black profile
- Color: the solar panels are printed in the same color as the cabinet
The SolarShutter is available in 5 cabinet depths. Thanks to the XSMAX cabinet with smaller motor and different type of roll-up shaft, we get 40 % additional roll-up height. Larger shutters in a smaller cabinet, in other words.
Launched last year and by now a best seller in the Winsol range. This front screens with 2 integrated solar panels operate exclusively on green solar energy, making them a sustainable way to keep the house cool during hot days. Thanks to the 90 mm straight cabinet fits the SolarFix in the day of most homes so it does not protrude into the facade. Moreover, the bottom lath is completely hidden in the cabinet, so no light is lost. An aesthetic and sleek solution.
For larger windows, the SolarFix is also available with a 110 mm cabinet and contains a powerful 4 Ah battery with a long service life. The solar panels can be finished in 4 ways (Standard symmetrical or asymmetrical, Black Belt or Colour, see finishing options SolarShutter above).

With its design, features, smartphone control and automatic slats, the Pergola SO! is a popular Winsol product and winner of a Red Dot Design Award in 2019. It should therefore not be missed at R+T.
After the successful launch in 2018, we added in May 2020 wood-look slats add (available in oak natural, oak light gray and oak dark brown) and the new ambient walls followed in September. Thanks to the current range of 7 types of functional as well as decorative closures, we can say that the Pergola SO! fits any architectural style, whether rural or rather modern.
Winsol developed 4 mood boards and 3 styles To market atmospheric walls. Here, inspiring the consumer is important. The different styles with their corresponding mood walls - cottage & country, modern & minimalist, romantic & homely and hospitality - will also be on display at R+T.

The SO! Star and SO! Chic are equipped as standard with an automatic motor that follows the position of the sun and then tilts the slats by 1° every 4 minutes. You don't have to do anything, this happens completely automatically, all year round. This is also offered as an option with the SO! Cosy.
Winsol is unique in the market with this feature.
Thanks to the automatic controls, you also hardly lose incident daylight when the pergola is attached to the house.
