Smart navigation ensures exceptional results

Van Dyck Marcel Belgium is a leading importer and distributor of machines for garden and park, agriculture, forestry and road maintenance, with an extensive range for both private and professional users. The ambitious company from Houtvenne also focuses on cities and municipalities, with specific machines for street cleaning, landscaping, weed control, winter service, etc.

Recently, Van Dyck Marcel Belgium has expanded its range with the Navimow robotic mowers - without perimeter cable - from Segway. Because over the years, the robotic mower market has experienced a great growth. This is no different at Van Dyck Marcel Belgium. In the coming years, the company will exclusively import and distribute the machines through an extensive dealer network in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Innovation and quality

The Navimow robotic mower is Segway's first foray into the garden equipment market. The robotic mower uses an EFLS: Exact Fusion Locating System. Compared to GPS, the RTK positioning system significantly improves the robot's precise positioning. Which also makes it ideal for anti-theft. Because if the mower moves outside its virtual boundary, the owner receives a notification, along with real-time location data, in the app.

Joël Van Dyck, manager Van Dyck Marcel Belgium: "Segway's wireless Navimow robotic mowers perfectly complement our large range of garden machinery. The innovative RTK technology allows our customers to self-install their robotic mower via smartphone, with no boundary wire involved. That this all fits perfectly with our own core values - innovation and quality - is something we are happy to take on board."

The mower can adapt to changing conditions.

Highest degree of safety

At the same time, safety is also at the top of the priority list. Examples include ultrasonic sensors, bumper sensors, elevator sensors, tilt sensors and the revolutionary automatic "Bladehalt" sensor. The latter stops the blade when, for example, pets or hedgehogs come close.

Joël Van Dyck: "The Navimow mowers are equipped with five safety sensors that detect the environment and allow the mower to adapt to changing conditions. Thanks to the ultrasonic sensor, if the mower finds a hard object in its path, it will reverse and continue working in another direction. Together with the 'Bladehalt' sensor - an additional layer of safety by stopping the blades when an object enters the detection area - this ensures the highest degree of safety."

The Navimow has a noise level of only 54 dB(A).

User-friendly and high quality

The Navimow is equipped with powerful hub motors to propel the robotic mower. This also makes this Navimow the quietest robotic mower on the market, with a noise level of only 54 dB(A).

Joël Van Dyck: "To say that these robotic mowers are user-friendly is actually underestimating the facts. First of all, the need for complicated perimeter wiring has been completely eliminated. Moreover, with a smartphone, with a few clicks, you can set/edit a virtual map, check the status in real time, plus adjust the mowing schedule and height of cut. You are always only two buttons away from a perfectly maintained lawn: MOW & OK. Done!".
