Whether we wanted to see (and hear) the new, 100% electric AllTrec 8015F lawn mower at work? Of course we did. It turned out to be an interesting, pleasant acquaintance. And the first users were particularly enthusiastic.
Sustainable mobility is a major concern for businesses, but also for municipalities. The improvement of our living environment requires an absolute reduction of CO2 and fine particle emissions from motorized vehicles, and a drastic reduction of environmental noise.
The same is true in and around urban green spaces. Who enjoys a walk in the park while being constantly bombarded by the noise and pollution of the environment? And what green maintenance worker does not dream of being able to perform his tasks more comfortably and efficiently, with less fatigue and noise pressure, without compromising the productivity and efficiency of his work? FPS Electric, the Dutch manufacturer of AllTrec machines, is constantly working to meet these legitimate aspirations.
And so now, after several years of intensive research and development, the manufacturer presents a new 100% electric model: the Alltrec 8015F lawn mower, which now takes its place in the range alongside its little brother, the AllTrec 4810T. We were introduced to it at the invitation of the importer and distributor for Belgium, Hilaire Van Der Haeghe.

Whether mowing, weeding or sweeping and cleaning, this machine is designed for use with a variety of attachments: leaf blower, weed brush, thermal weeder, mower.
The mower deck has a maximum cutting width of 2.70 meters, with the ability to raise the side decks individually via the joystick or control buttons when necessary, for example, to avoid an obstacle or to mow close to a tree; thanks to this option, the cutting width then reduces from 270 cm to 205 cm (one side deck raised) or 140 cm (both side decks raised), corresponding to the width of the fixed section. The seven blades in the mower deck each have their own motor. The battery has a capacity of 34, 50 or 67 kWh and is fully charged in 4 to 8 hours.
Another advantage is the machine's ease of maintenance: besides some lubrication points, checking tire pressure and periodically blowing it clean with compressed air, there will be little else to do.

Comfort is a strong point with this machine. The AllTrec 8015F comes standard with air suspension seat and seat heating. Standard equipment also includes Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity for remote monitoring and diagnostics.
That standard equipment can be completed with an optional cab with air conditioning and heating, Bluetooth radio, USB power supply, integrated work lights and alarm, a windshield wiper with washer, an upward-opening rear window and two fully glazed doors.
Another important option is the 4WD all-wheel drive, with ATC (Advance Torque Control) system to ensure maximum grip and handling on all types of terrain.
And when work demands less traction and requires an even more compact and maneuverable lawn mower, the AllTrec 4810T does the job with the same ease and benefits associated with electric drive.

A brief explanation of operation and controls, and there we went for a little test drive. The reactions were overwhelming: responsiveness, ease of use, comfort, maneuverability, quiet operation.... This is what the various testers spontaneously declared at the end of their initiation trip. Without disturbing nearby hikers.
This first contact with the machine surprised many. A carbon-neutral downtown may not be for tomorrow, but the AllTrec solution for landscaping certainly makes an important contribution in this direction and deserves our attention.
