The total surface area of roadsides along the Flemish road network amounts to 20,000 to 25,000 hectares (figures from the Flemish Roads and Traffic Agency). The professional mowing of verges is important in the context of road safety and nature protection, among other things. Local authorities, intermunicipal utility companies and garden contractors rely on powerful and reliable roadside mowers for this purpose. With the Agria 9600, Van Haute Landbouwmachines offers a high-performance and extremely safe, tele-guided track mower.
The 2020 Agria 9600-112 is available in two engine versions: Kawasaki and Briggs & Stratton. With power ratings of 24 and 22 hp, respectively, this powerful track mower can handle slopes as steep as 55°/145%. Combined with a tele-guided remote control, the machine is ideal for mowing hard-to-reach areas. And thanks to a lightweight and compact design - between 610 and 650 kg - and a low center of gravity, the Agria slope mower ensures tightly mowed verges, without damage to the mowing pattern.
Not only steep slopes are child's play for this track mower. Mowing under solar panels or visible areas in parks is also perfectly possible. Thanks to its low build (between 70 and 86 cm), the Agria 9600 can easily maneuver under solar panels. As an operator, you can also tackle the sides of palisades of these panels. More and more operators are discovering how handy and efficient this asset is.
In both the Agria 9600 with B&S engine and the one with Kawasaki engine, the operator gets a tele-guided remote control. This provides extra safe and comfortable working conditions. You do not have to stand near the mower and potentially dangerous situations. As an operator, you are also protected from vibration, noise and exhaust fumes. This not only has a positive impact on your health, but also enables quiet, concentrated and safe work.
Extra interesting is the fact that the remote control has a 7-inch screen, on which you can read all relevant parameters - such as fuel capacity and operating temperature. This allows you to easily anticipate potential problems.
Another plus of the Agria 9600 embankment mower is the (optional) presence of durable LED lighting on the machine. This additional lighting provides additional safe working conditions, especially in noisy working conditions such as roadsides along highways. Indeed, in the event of a fuel shortage or possible technical failure, these LED lights will flash to alert the operator.
The Agria track mower sets new standards in flexibility. Its compact design allows you to use the mower even in very small spaces that are difficult for conventional machines and the operator to access. And thanks to the narrow working width (150 cm), the machine can also be transported on the loading area of small transport vehicles - without an additional trailer.
This machine features four speeds between 0 and 10 km/h. It is equipped as standard with a belt-driven blade drive 2 blade carriers with 4 pendulum blades. The cutting width is 112 cm, and with a cutting capacity (at a speed of 5 km/h) of up to 3600 m²/h (B&S engine) and 5000 m²/h (Kawasaki engine), this workhorse never disappoints. The maximum cutting height is 15 cm.
Good to know: in the version with Kawasaki engine, this engine is in direct connection with the machine's driving and control unit. As a result, the machine will automatically slow down if the crops to be mowed are too thick. The machine's travel speed is also adjusted if the slope is too high and therefore unsafe, so that you as an operator are notified in time to literally make adjustments.
