Mowing roadsides and embankments can be a tough challenge. One is often faced with steep slopes, uneven terrain and passing traffic. Self-propelled flail mowers have long offered a solution to this, but with the launch of the Peruzzo Robofox, Herco Machinery from Rijkevorsel expands the possibilities even further.
The Robofox Electra is the very first all-electric flail mower on the market. With this, the machine not only meets the ever-growing demand for electrically driven gardening and maintenance machines, but also allows you to work on even steeper terrain. This is because the electric motor can master slopes of up to 55° without any problems. In addition, the machine operates very quietly, so that noise pollution need no longer be a concern either - an important asset around hospitals, campsites, zoos and other public places.
Busy streets and other dangerous situations are also not a problem thanks to the remote control with a range of 150 meters. Working and swinging lights on the mower ensure that the operator never loses sight of the machine, and if there are obstacles in the road, the mower will double up before sending out a signal via remote control.

Depending on the material to be processed, the Robofox Electra's battery has an autonomy of two to three hours. If the machine needs to serve an entire working day, it can be expanded with an additional battery pack.
Another solution is the Robofox Hybrid: a self-propelled flail mower whose transport function is powered electrically and the mowing function by a 28hp combustion engine. It can be used all day, without interruption, on slopes of up to 45°.
Like other Peruzzo flail mowers, the Robofox Electra and Hybrid are distinguished by the large number of blades. Thus, they deliver the same fine mowing results, on even more demanding terrain, with less pressure on the environment.
