14th National Turf Day 'on tour'. Practical day for the green professional

The National Grass Day goes back 'on tour' towards Antwerp. This on the grounds of grass sod grower Franken Agro in Mol on Thursday, September 2. Hundreds of landscapers, green services, greenkeepers and garden professionals are again expected.

Theme this year is "Water, the new gold!. Last year, every lawn faced extreme weather conditions again. Very high temperatures and an acute shortage of water. How do you weaponize grass against this? Do you make sure the plants get enough water? And how do you buffer a lot of rainwater and drain it faster? Should the soil be tilled differently?

Field demos : soil, water, grass

The grass day is entirely filled with practical demos organized under the heading of soil, water and grass. In the context of biodiversity and sustainable green policy, due attention will also be paid to field flowers.

National Grass Day is an organization of 5 leading companies in the green industry: Advanta (Limagrain), Bayer Crop Science, Compo Expert, ICL and TerraCottem. And is supported by the recognized professional associations.

On this day the trial field (Postel 32 in Mol) will be open exclusively for professionals and garden constructors from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Here you will find everything about grass and so much more on one large demo field. This is also the place for an informal chat with colleagues and/or fellow gardeners in the familiar friendly atmosphere.
