15-year-old GR Technics continues to grow and relocates

GR technics in Beerse, which manufactures site lighting and mobile camera masts, among other things, is moving for the 3rd time in 15 years. Despite the corona crisis, the company expects to sell a record number of its own lighting and camera masts this year.

GR technics operates mainly in the security, surveillance and events sector. The company has been showing growth for several years in a row. "This is mainly due to the production of our own Stalico mobile masts," says Managing Director Gunter Roefs. "We are now active in 7 countries.Exports to Germany and Poland in particular are going well. If the rhythm is not disrupted, we will reach the mark of 1,000 Stalico's by the end of this year. A record; 30% more than last year."

For the past 5 years, GR technics has also been developing mobile power solutions for its products. With mobile solar panels, hybrid generators and battery packs, the company is making small power generators obsolete. "This is how we reduce our customers' emissions to 60%. Currently we are working on an off grid system, separate from the grid, the size of a container."

By next summer, GR technics plans to move to a new building directly across from its current site on Beemden Street. "That should be more modern and larger so we can triple the production of our mobile light and camera masts. The offices will be built to allow for expansion and a talk shop and training room will also be provided." GR technics has 14 employees.
