A contention that today, in the context of hot summers and prolonged periods of drought, is more justified than ever. To ensure that water, oxygen and fertilizers can penetrate the soil sufficiently smoothly even in such difficult conditions, it is necessary to scarify, aerate, overseed and fertilize at appropriate intervals.
Garden equipment distributor Herco Machinery today offers a complete range for professional grass maintenance and soil preparation. Mowers from Encore and Perruzzo were already in the range for some time, just like the Ecolawn compost spreaders and top dressers, but completely new are the overseeder and aerators from Stinger. The American brand, with over forty years of experience, is thus gaining a foothold in Europe for the first time. The slogan is clear: "making short work of big jobs". Or: big jobs don't have to take long.
To deliver on the above promise, Stinger is betting first and foremost on power. After all, both the DUAL-AER 2475 hollow pipe aerator and the SUPERSEEDER 2400 overseeder, with 20 kilograms of seed capacity, are powered by a powerful Honda GX390 engine. Ironclad about the overseeder, moreover, are the twelve overtop rotating blades. They are equipped with no less than eight teeth per blade, enabling them to withstand even the toughest soil conditions, with seeding depths of up to 38 millimeters deep. The eight tines also ensure fast results.
Power and speed therefore go hand in hand at Stinger. The hydrostatic drive of both machines simplifies operation and increases productivity. When combined with the optional Sulky, the machines even take on the entire job, saving the user useful energy for other work.
