Electric garden tools are the future. Contest: win a Cub for your club

MTD Products Benelux BV is the sales office of MTD Products AG in the Benelux. Willems: "We supply a-brands such as WOLF-Garten, Robomow, Cub Cadet, MTD and Arnold. These make us a total supplier and one of the biggest players in Europe."

In the summer, Cub Cadet will introduce the XZ7 series zeroturn mower. "It is a large riding mower, equipped with a powerful Kawasaki engine; best known for its unsurpassed combination of innovative handlebar technology, extremely robust construction and highly reliable components."

With the introduction of the XR5 robotic mower, trimmer, hedge trimmer and chainsaw in the 60 V battery range, Cub Cadet is taking an important step in tools for garden and landscape management. "The special feature is that each tool runs on the same battery. Therefore, there is no need to purchase multiple batteries. Moreover, they are more durable and quieter than tools powered by a gasoline engine. For Cub Cadet, electric tools are the future."

"In Belgium and the Netherlands, clubs and associations are having a very tough time due to the covid pandemic, which is why Cub Cadet wants to lend a hand. This summer we are introducing the competition 'Win a Cub for your club.' Soccer and field hockey clubs, but also softball and handball clubs or golf clubs, in short everyone, have a chance to win the Cub Cadet XZ5 L127 riding mower, worth five thousand euros. We know better than anyone that a well mowed lawn is essential for practicing sports, but also that good tools are quite an investment. We want to lend a hand and give something that really benefits the winner."

The promotion requires some creativity from the club. "For a chance to win the riding mower, each participating club submits one or more photos showing in a playful way that they deserve the XZ5 L127. Each photo, provided with a clear description, we would like to see it featured on social media like Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag #wineencubforyourclub."

The criteria for participation are simple: "The photo shows at a glance why the club deserves a new lawnmower. For example, because the grass is very long, the current machine is broken or because the field no longer looks like it should. In addition, we would like to see people in the photo. So with the whole team, with the volunteer who maintains the grass, or with a concerned parent...: everyone can be photographed."

Willems: "The competition starts at the end of July and the results will follow in the fall, after which we will visit the winning club together with a photographer and hand over the Cub Cadet XZ5. We're looking forward to it, so bring on those pictures."
