From fairway to soccer field: GAB's network meetings for 2024

Save the date!

It has been definitively established. The Organization of Belgian Greenkeepers (GAB) will continue to organize the informative networking events "When Football meets Golf" in 2024. Reserve the following days in advance: Thursday, March 28, 2024 and Thursday, September 5, 2024. The team, consisting of Eddy, Geert, Michel, Brecht, and Axel, has put together an indispensable program for these events. These events will take place at two prominent clubs - more information later. Stay tuned via the GAB's social media for more information and updates on these two special days. The Greenkeepers' Association of Belgium, a non-profit organization, has been providing its members with educational and informational resources on greenkeeping for 35 years (since 1989). The GAB organizes meetings, training and demonstrations to keep its members informed.

Michel Van Uffelen, administrator: "Our organization cooperates with regional and national golf associations, the European greenkeepers association, and companies active in the golf sector. Nevertheless, the GAB remains independent; its board consists only of active greenkeepers."

"The GAB is open to golf clubs, businesses, greenkeepers and groundsmen. Members get access to our library, a subscription to a Dutch- or French-language magazine for greenkeepers, and several annual meetings on current topics. And we may be starting a new chapter next year. A few pieces of the puzzle still have to fall into place, but we have high hopes. You will hear from us," concludes a combative Michel Van Uffelen.
