Gardens Hoflack wants to make even better use of administrative software

With a strong team, special attention to detail, and smooth follow-up and communication, Langemark-based Tuinen Hoflack tries to distinguish itself with private, commercial and public clients alike. Not coincidentally, at the family business they expect their own professional partners to demonstrate these qualities as well. Visma Bouwsoft, formerly Groensoft, is already living up to that expectation. After all, Gardens Hoflack has been using the administrative software for some twelve years.

Gardens Hoflack evolved from nursery to landscaping company in 1997, specializing in construction and maintenance of both public landscaping projects and private gardens. 

"In 2010, it became apparent that there was no follow-up for our then-invoicing package," says Hilde Ver Eecke, who heads the family business with her husband Patrick Hoflack. "After a brief introduction, we then switched to Groensoft - now Visma Bouwsoft. Initially only for invoicing and payment control, but then quickly also for the creation of work orders, requisition statements, and so on. This has saved us a lot of time over the past twelve years."

Quickly mastered

Saving time is not the only reason why Tuinen Hoflack continues to choose Visma Bouwsoft year after year. 

"Even during that first introduction, I was impressed by the ease of use," recalls Hilde Ver Eecke. "We received a short training and were able to get started right away. Even the additional employees who have since been given access to the platform quickly mastered it. And if we did have a problem, we just had to pick up the phone or submit a ticket on the support site. Just as we invariably try to find a quick and appropriate solution for our customers, we know that Visma Bouwsoft's support staff will immediately come to our aid."

Gardens Hoflack is still impressed with the ease of use.

Since son Stive Hoflack joined the company in August, incidentally, plans for Visma Bouwsoft have only grown. 

"We want to streamline everything even further," he said. "For example, we will increasingly use unit pricing and, for example, the communication capabilities of the software. In addition, the mobile app will also become an important pillar for consulting work orders and quotes directly on site, time recording, and so on. This will not only reduce our paper mountain, but also allow us to act faster and improve follow-up."

"A good plan," thinks Gianni Boone, commercial director of Visma Bouwsoft. "This is simply how the software is conceived: as a modular package that continues to evolve and grow together with the green companies."
