Green Expo in Ghent

From Sunday, Sept. 22 to Tuesday, Sept. 24, professionals in the green industry will gather at Green Expo. This year there is an extra focus on the construction and maintenance of sports and golf courses. Attend free information sessions, see machines in action, and make contacts.

As a greenkeeper, you are not one specialist, you are ten! Arborist, gardener, weed controller, irrigation expert ... How do you keep up with all the developments? We have one address for you: Green Expo in Ghent. The trade fair takes place from Sunday, September 22 to Tuesday, September 24. The Greenkeepers' Association of Belgium will also be present.

Sustainability and technology

"At Green Expo, as a greenkeeper you are a kid in a candy store," laughs Bianca Peeters, organizer at Easyfairs. "We have 200 booths and exhibitors, two impressive machine halls, and all-day demonstrations and inspiration sessions. Much of the focus is on sustainable green maintenance and technology. You can follow a climate route, and there is a Green Innovation Lane with technological highlights for the sector."

As a greenkeeper, you can also attend training and inspiration sessions. Like about plant protection products and biodiverse and climate-robust greenery. 

Exhibition full of experience

"New at that fifteenth edition of the trade fair is the family day, with activities for young children. On Monday there will be an evening opening with a marching band and a specially brewed fair beer. And every day we present an award. On Sunday, we honor the best garden contractor with the Flemish Garden Contractor Awards, on Monday we honor the best garden center with the Garden Center Awards. And on Tuesday we put the spotlight on the best tree project. With the 1.2.Tree Awards."
