Pivabo goes with Kersten for 'Made in Germany' quality label

Because the latter uses the engine as a counterweight to the implement, placing it behind the drive shaft. With a tool carrier, the engine is mounted on top of the drive shaft. This ensures good stability and makes the machine much more comfortable to use.

For the true professional

Kersten's multifunctional tool carriers are designed for the construction and maintenance of (public) green spaces. The machines are available in various motorizations between 3.3 kW (4.4 HP) and 16.9 kW (23 HP). A characteristic feature is the hydraulic travel drive. This is infinitely variable on almost all models, making it easy for the user to adjust the speed to the nature of the work to be performed. There are two series: K-Line and UBS-Line.  

K-Line

K-Line tool carriers (up to 8.4 HP) are mainly used in the maintenance of private and public areas. There are 18 different implements, from sweepers over weed brushes or burners to mowing bars, salt spreaders and implements for artificial turf cleaning. Plenty of choice, in other words.

UBS-Line

The more powerful UBS-Line series starts from 8.4 HP and drives all implements via the speed-independent PTO. In total, the UBS-Line has 31 different implements. This ensures that the machines can be used year-round in both construction and maintenance.

For landscaping, for example, an overtop cultivator or rotary harrow is perfectly suited. For (semi-)paving, a sweeper, weed hoe, weed burner or weed brush are the ideal partners. In winter, you have a snowblower, spreader or snowblower.

The UBS is often equipped with a mowing implement. Various types of cutting bars, mulching mowers, drum mowers or flail mowers are available. The high power and central placement of the engine ensure efficient and comfortable operation on slopes up to 45°.

Moreover, all Kersten tool carriers can be equipped with an extensive arsenal of wheels in lawn or agricultural profile. Double wheels or metal pointed wheels also belong to
the opportunity.  

Kersten proposed a new sliding wheel axle for the UBS-Line in 2020. This allows the center of gravity of the machine to be moved forward or backward. When working in the ground - for example, with the overtop cultivator - additional ground pressure can then be created. In this way, the machine remains easy to handle in transport position, unlike a motocultivator.

Electric? Hassle-free and convenient!

The Comfort Drive (electronic travel drive) also has no equal. Two electric buttons for forward or reverse, a button for selecting work speed or transport speed, an (emergency) stop and a slider for setting the travel speed. With one thumb, the machine is fully operated. Handy!
