Special fuel for two-stroke engines with new formula
To make gasoline-powered two-stroke engines more environmentally friendly, STIHL is presenting a new fuel blend: the STIHL MotoMix ECO. The patented composition contains ten percent raw materials from renewable sources: primarily wood residues from forestry that have been processed into usable components for fuel.
Like the well-known and proven fuel mixture STIHL MotoMix, the ready-to-use special fuel (1:50) ensures optimum performance of two-stroke engines. Thereby MotoMix ECO guarantees the best characteristics for a smooth cold start and maximum acceleration over the entire speed range.
The machines run smoothly and that with CO2 emissions that are at least eight percent lower than with the classic MotoMix. In addition, STIHL is not only focusing on environmentally friendly components in the MotoMix ECO itself, but also in its packaging. For example, the jerry can of the new mix consists of at least fifty percent recycled material. This recycling makes it possible to produce a new plastic by reprocessing plastic waste in a resource-saving way.
