The company Thomas from Merchtem, founded in 1931 as a repair company of agricultural vehicles, is a renowned distributor of new and second-hand agricultural and horticultural machinery. Its customer base, in addition to the agricultural sector, consists mainly of garden contractors, public green services, the horse sector and those responsible for sports centers and golf courses. In this episode, we present some of Timberwolf's machines.
Thomas distributes Timberwolf's high-performance machines, including a range of high-performance chippers and shredders. Timberwolf has been an industry leader for more than 30 years. With its thorough research and design process, the company continues to set new levels of performance and quality standards for the entire industry. Timberwolf, meanwhile, has invested heavily in machines that meet low-emission standards.
Among its latest machines is a new and powerful range of chippers and shredders with emission-friendly Stage V engines. Mandatory since 2020, these engines will systematically replace the more polluting Stage III and IV engines. This will enable compliance with the EU Stage V emission standards. Timberwolf is also taking a leadership role in this area.
This compact but high-performance wood chipper is now available with two emission-friendly engines: a B&S Vanguard V two-cylinder gasoline engine, or a Kubota V1505 diesel engine. The machine features a 230 x 160 millimeter hydraulic feeder and a braked high-speed wheel set. Due to its low dead weight (less than 750 kilograms), a B driver's license is sufficient to work with it. The possible throughput is over 5 tons per hour. This makes this chipper a reliable and powerful all-rounder for the demanding professional.
This is the big brother of the TW230HB. It has a feed opening of 280 X 210 millimeters, a throughput of over 7 tons per hour and a Stage V Kubota WG1605 gasoline engine.
Those who need to work "off road" should choose a Timberwolf chipper on tracked undercarriage. This type can handle up to 16 inches of roundwood. The track undercarriage has two speeds. Thanks to its hydraulically adjustable tracks, the TW230 VTR model can pass through openings as small as 80 centimeters. This makes this version ideal for places that are otherwise difficult to reach. This type was also recently equipped with two new and emission-friendly engines: a B&S Vanguard V gasoline engine and a Kubota V1505 diesel engine.
This is the big brother of the TW230VTR. The machine with great off-road capabilities has a feed opening of 280 X 210 millimeters, a processing capacity of over 7 tons per hour and a Stage V Kubota WG1605 gasoline engine.
This extremely high-performance chipper with Stage V Kubota WG1605 gasoline engine features a larger tracked chassis than the TW280 FTR, and is also equipped with a WolfTrack variable gradient tracking system.
With these latest developments, Timberwolf once again provides proof that people- and environment-friendly work does not have to come at the expense of power and performance at all.
