The progressive and innovative Dutch company meclean is a manufacturer and supplier of professional cleaning machines. These machines are sold through a selective dealer network in the Netherlands, Belgium and France, among others. In addition, meclean's production facility in Terneuzen delivers high-pressure trailers, Trailerjets, CityCleaners and special (built-in) projects to customers all over the world.

For example, at Disney World Orlando, Florida, a CityCleaner drives around for total park maintenance, and many professional cleaning companies in, for example, China, Romania and Israel, just to name a few countries, choose the now proven quality of the meclean cleaning machines. Achievements that the relatively young meclean can be quite proud of.

All meclean professional cleaning machines are developed with the end users in mind: the result are solid machines that do their job day in, day out without problems. No unnecessary electronics and only functional, mechanical technology.

The 'pluses' of meclean

With the patented SteamPLUS® 2.0 high-pressure steam technology, users can really make a difference. This cleaning technique allows jobs to be taken on that could not be done with traditional high-pressure cleaning. SteamPLUS® is designed for deep cleaning and/or paint and graffiti removal from damage-prone surfaces such as vulnerable listed buildings, without the need for detergents. SteamPLUS® is available as an option on the high-pressure trailers, Trailerjet-L/XL
and trailer packs.

AquaPLUS® is a technology that sits between traditional (hot) water high pressure and SteamPLUS®. The balanced mix of superheated water and steam utilizes the benefits of both. Water (90%) provides impact and rinse, and the steam portion (10%) produces a limited thermoshock effect, eliminating the need for chemistry in many cases. For surface cleaning where damage to the substrate is less relevant and, on the contrary, extra work speed is required, AquaPLUS® is excellent to use.

WeedPLUS® hot water weed control technology eliminates the need for pesticides. Only pure, hot water is enough to effectively and 100% environmentally friendly control weeds. WeedPLUS® technology is available as an option on the high-pressure trailers, Trailerjet-S/L/XL and trailer packs, and is standard on a number of high-pressure cleaners in the meclean dealer program. This makes these specific models true 2-in-1 machines: simply switching and changing the spray lance is enough to go from hot water high-pressure cleaning directly to hot water weed control.

Within the green industry, the focus is increasingly on the environmentally friendly aspect. Public authorities and contractors are increasingly choosing to eschew fossil fuels. Meclean responded to this early on, with a range of electrically powered cleaning machines for public spaces as well.

CitySweeper street sweeper

The electrically powered CitySweeper-S is 100% emission-free, very quiet and allows one machine to keep the entire public space clean and attractive. The six different functions of the CitySweeper-S - sweeping, waste vacuuming, weed brushing, leaf blowing, pressure cleaning and disinfecting - make it possible to achieve better results with fewer machines, in less time and with fewer people.

Battery-powered SERIE-CFB with WeedPLUS®

This machine achieves more than 90% emission reduction and no less than eight hours of effective working time, thanks to its battery drive (LiFePOi4) and heat exchanger that is also suitable for fossil-free diesel such as HVO100, Neste, etc. The SERIE-CFB comes with WeedPLUS® hot water weed control technology, is also suitable for cleaning as well as disinfection (adjustable water temperature), has a water flow of 12 liters/minute and a water tank of 500 liters. The sturdy powder-coated frame with lifting shafts can take a beating. The SERIE-CFB also comes with a self-coiling reel with 20 meters of working hose, lance with nozzle head, stainless steel spray trolley of 50 centimeters wide and a special
cleaning/disinfection lance.

Outdoor sweepers and weed brush machine

Within the dealer program, a fine example of solid, mechanical technology is the professional FRONTSWEEP PRO outdoor sweeper, with Honda gasoline engine and a sweeping/working width of 80 centimeters (there is also a version with 100 centimeters sweeping width). Suitable for leaf sweeping, moss and weed sweeping, snow removal, and so on. Or the Weedsweep weed brush machine, with a brush capacity of 2,600 m2/hour, a brush width of 30 centimeters and a travel speed of 3 to 5 km/hour. This sturdy machine with powerful Honda engine is also excellent for longer weeds. The balanced vibration-free brush head and ergonomic, foldable handle make it pleasant to work with. 

100% fossil-free and same performance as high-pressure diesel-powered trailers

The new battery-powered fossil-free high-pressure trailer has also been developed according to the well-known philosophy of meclean with sustainable and functional technology. Meclean consistently opts for the best components, resulting in a functional and reliable machine with a working time of 6 to 16 effective working hours (depending on the operating mode selected), without the need to recharge in between. The SteamPLUS®, AquaPLUS® and WeedPLUS® options make it even more distinctive. The significant noise reduction (about 70% less than the diesel-powered versions) is an additional interesting "plus" when working in public areas. 

The high-pressure trailers - like the CitySweeper, the CityCleaner and the StreetCleaner - fall into the Urban Cleaning Line. By default, this line is not sold through the dealer network. The dealer program consists of high-pressure cleaners, sweepers/vacuum cleaners, scrubbers/vacuum cleaners, dust/water vacuum cleaners, industrial vacuum cleaners, weed control machines and outdoor sweepers, accessories and cleaning agents.
