Since 2010, machine builder SMO from Eeklo has been producing the FleXiever screening machines. What started with one model - the FleXiever Mobile - grew into a real line of shaker sieves, which are used by soil processors, rental companies, soil research, schools, among others... But also garden contractors, green services and other professionals in the green sector can benefit from them!
Michael De Craene, sales FleXiever: "We clearly notice an increasing demand for screening machines from the green sector. The increase in energy prices and the search for sustainable energy probably have something to do with this. For companies that sell wood chips for use in wood chip heating, among other things, it is important that the chips have the right caliber. This is because wood chips that are too long can cause the auger responsible for feeding the boiler to become clogged, and fine dust in turn causes unclean combustion and soot deposits. The FleXiever screening machines are very diverse in their applications, as can be seen on our website video page."
Michael De Craene: "The Mini Screener, mounted on the chassis of a trailer (680 kg), is the ideal machine for small screening operations or screening in confined spaces. In 'drive mode', the machine stands lengthwise on the trailer. When sifting is required, the Mini Screener turns 90°. This causes the coarse and fine fraction to fall to the left and right of the trailer, creating a free passage at all times. Driving plates are placed in front of the tires so that the material can be easily removed."
"The mobile sieve, FleXiever Mobile, was also specially developed to be used flexibly for various applications. Folded closed, the sieve can easily be coupled to a vehicle, using a standard drawbar. The Mobile meets the standards according to the European Highway Code and can therefore be registered in any European country."
