Husqvarna introduces new Automower® 540 EPOS®

Wireless, smart and ready for AI

At the international Living City event in Barcelona, Husqvarna presented the latest addition to its Automower® professional range: the Automower® 540 EPOS®.

Designed for smaller commercial applications such as business parks, hotels, campuses and public green spaces, this next-generation robotic mower combines fully wireless navigation with advanced digital control.

Wireless and flexible thanks to EPOS® technology

The Automower® 540 EPOS® works with virtual boundaries instead of traditional boundary wires. Thanks to Husqvarna's EPOS® navigation (Exact Positioning Operating System), the mower can work to the nearest centimeter within set zones, with freely adjustable cutting patterns. The solution offers great flexibility for green professionals: zones can be easily adjusted via the app, without digging or cables.

The new EPOS RS 4G reference station and EPOS via Husqvarna Cloud also further extend that wireless freedom. The mower can now receive correction data over the mobile network, making installations faster and maintenance easier.

Ready for AI and vision technology

One notable innovation is the ability to equip the Automower® 540 EPOS® with Husqvarna's new AI vision technology. This optional camera accessory uses artificial intelligence to recognize and avoid objects, further increasing reliability and uptime. With built-in infrared light, the mower can operate safely and intuitively even at night.

Built for demanding conditions

The Automower® 540 EPOS® is designed for areas up to 8,000 m² and can handle slopes up to 50 %. A pivoting front axle provides stability on uneven terrain, while the 180° maintenance position and easily removable mower disc significantly speed up maintenance. The mower is also easy to clean with a garden hose.

Smart management via the Husqvarna Fleet Services™ app

Professionals can remotely manage and monitor the Automower® 540 EPOS® through Husqvarna Fleet Services™, which allows them to receive real-time status updates, adjust settings and resume mowing after an error message. This results in fewer maintenance visits, higher uptime and a more predictable schedule.
