This is why STIHL, the German garden machinery manufacturer, offers the MSA 60 C-B and MSA 70 C-B cordless chainsaws, which are also light and easy to operate. The powerful EC motor is equipped with infinitely variable speed control as standard. In combination with a high-quality saw attachment, they thus guarantee fast work progress and a clean cut. The MSA 70 C-B offers users 25% more cutting power than the MSA 60 C-B. The new cordless chainsaws also convince in terms of working comfort. Thanks to the compact design and rubber handle, they lie comfortably in the hand. With the chain quick-release device, you tighten the chain easily and without tools. Another practical detail is the transparent oil tank, which allows the user to see the oil level at any time. The chainsaws are equipped with a powerful 36 V lithium-ion battery of the STIHL AK system. This battery is compatible with all other machines of this system.

Technical characteristics:

• Powerful and easy to use

The new entry-level models in the cordless chainsaw segment, the STIHL MSA 60 C-B and the STIHL MSA 70 C-B, are powered by an electronically controlled, energy-efficient brushless electric motor that is highly wear-resistant. These chainsaws are ideal for occasional grounds maintenance, cutting firewood and simple jobs in densely populated residential areas. The MSA 70 C-B offers users 25% more cutting power than the MSA 60 C-B. Both machines start at the push of a button. They impress with their fast acceleration and easy operation. The infinitely adjustable gear lever provided as standard also adds to the ease of use. In addition, these cordless chainsaws are so quiet that you do not need hearing protection and you do not cause noise pollution for the surroundings.

• Efficient cutting and comfortable working

The two new cordless chainsaws come standard with the STIHL 1/4″ Picco Micro 3 (PM3) saw chain. Thanks to the chain quick tensioner, you tighten the chain easily and without tools. Combined with the STIHL Rollomatic E Mini guide bar, it delivers a clean and smooth cut both when trimming trees and shrubs and when cutting firewood. The new machines also impress with their ease of use: with their compact design and rubber handle with Ergo lever, they are easy to hold and very comfortable to use. Thanks to the transparent oil tank, you always have a view of the oil level.

• Universal battery for the whole system

Both cordless chainsaws are powered by a powerful 36 V lithium-ion battery from the STIHL AK System. Both the MSA 60 C-B and MSA 70 C-B are compatible with all batteries of this system. The system includes not only chainsaws, but also machines for a wide variety of tasks around the house and in the garden: lawn mowers, scarifiers, hedge trimmers (on handle), leaf blowers, leaf vacuums, edge trimmers and high pruners. The system also includes other batteries and various chargers. Handy: the battery and charger are compatible with several machines! The AK 20 battery is recommended for the MSA 60 C-B. It offers up to 40 minutes of use per charge. For the MSA 70 C-B, the AK 30 battery has an operating time of 45 minutes.
