Pols now also imports Ransomes Jacobsen, E-Z-GO, Cushman and Infinicut
for the BeLux

Pols, an independent family business based in Zuidland, is a reliable, flexible partner in the field of vegetable technology, tractors, recycling and soil suction technology. It is a compact organization with short lines to customers and suppliers. Customer and machine are central here, and that means sound advice, sales, repair, modification or parts supply. This spring the family business, in consultation with the Firma Thomas from Merchtem, took on the Belux of the E-Z-GO, Cushman and Ransomes Jacobsen brands. Especially the latter, with more than 180 years of experience, knows like no other how best to cut or trim the grass. An additional advantage is that the move of R&D and production from the US to the UK ensures that all Ransomes Jacobsen machines are tested and tuned to the local market. The company also maintains the world's most prestigious turf fields, including those to be used at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Environmentally friendly machinery

Eric Laenen, Region Leader Belux at Pols: "The company is the only lawnmower manufacturer with 'ISO 14001' certification, the international standard for environmental management. This ISO certification of Ransomes Jacobsen shows that we strive to make our machinery as environmentally friendly as possible. That is why we are also pushing hard for the electrification of our range. With the electric greens mowers - "Eclipse" from Jacobsen - we built in the first lithium/ion battery packs back in 2012, which did offer some advantages in terms of autonomy. Now we have also electrically converted a Ransomes 3-part rotary mower (3.3 m); something that really nobody has yet. Because we are a special importer for Ransomes Jacobsen, we are going - with their support - to market that mower here. There will also be an electric front rotary mower (1.50 m) with a lithium battery at Ransomes next year (2023). Jacobsen will simultaneously market the first all-electric fairway mower, also in 2023. And let's certainly not forget our popular electric greens mower, the Eclipse 360. Fully equipped with rear roller brushes - the exclusive Jacobsen Groomers® - this machine can mow up to 50 greens without having to recharge."

Infinicut: electrical cream of the crop

Eric Laenen: "With Infinicut we are also continuing the electrification of our machinery. This is really the cream of the crop when it comes to sports field maintenance. Together with the Simplex mowers (Jacobsen), they are the first mowers in the world that connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth. This allows you to super easily and wirelessly check settings, battery capacity..."

"They also have batteries that last a very long time. The power is provided by a lithium energy source. The batteries are available in different versions: 1.4k kWh or 2.8k kWh. For the Jacobsen "Eclipse 360" this is 250Ah and for the Simplex mowers we are talking about 50Ah, which can be changed very quickly if necessary. Multifunctional, easy to use, low maintenance and the power of an electric motor. All this exclusively available in the Benelux via Pols. Totally unique universal chassis

Infinicut works with a completely unique universal chassis and a very convenient cassette system: TMSystem. This transforms the mower into a complete turf maintenance system and allows the professional to also scarify, aerate, brush, clean... Thanks to the versatile system, there is no need to buy individual machines and the same machine can be used to maintain all types of sports grounds. The same type of units can also be used with Jacobsen's electric "Eclipse 360" mower, allowing the sports field to be maintained in an efficient, multi-purpose way and with a wider cutting pattern.
