What started over fifty years ago with the purchase of three Ahlmann Swing Shovel Loaders, has today grown into a leading importer and distributor of unique machines. Rental companies, contractors, road construction companies, landscapers and tree growers all find their way to this market player. And that is no coincidence.

Since 1974, the family business Ahlmann Netherlands - headquartered in Ammerzoden, the Netherlands - has been the exclusive importer for the Netherlands and Belgium of the unique Ahlmann swing loaders. Anno 2022 this range has expanded considerably, with tele-swing loaders, articulated loaders, front loaders and telefront loaders also in the range. By the way, since 2001 Ahlmann Netherlands has also been an importer of the French Mecalac earthmoving machines. For all these powerful machines, the company naturally offers the necessary attachments, from augers to rubble buckets.

From January 1, the sales area in Belgium was limited to Flanders, but since that date Ahlmann Netherlands has also been the distributor for Mecalac.

Versatile swing loaders

The Ahlmann swing loaders are and remain the flagship in the range. Moving a load from front to side - with a shovel arm that can move 90° to the left and right - is a unique asset of these machines. As an operator, do you want to move a pallet a little further away or pour out a bucket of sand a little further? With the Ahlmann tele-swing loader, you'll complete this job efficiently and safely.

The power of Mecalac machines

Over to the Mecalac excavators. Because here, too, Ahlmann Netherlands excels in a wide range of reliable machines. As a professional, you have a choice of mobile and tracked excavators, multi-earthm excavators, compact loaders and articulated loaders. Each machine offers unique pluses for specific professional categories.

 For example, AX articulated loaders are specially designed for landscapers, construction companies and equipment rental companies. They benefit from a compact machine with high breakout force and ditto lifting capacity, combined with an unobstructed view from the cab and easy operation. 

Machine tailored to user

In turn, compact loaders are an indispensable tool for professionals in the construction and agriculture and horticulture sectors. The demand for these small, multifunctional articulated loaders is rising rapidly, replacing front-loader tractors or skid-steer loaders. The reason? Their greater versatility, maneuverability and safety for different applications.

In turn, Mecalac's multi-purpose earthmoving machines are diligent workers that combine the good qualities of excavators, telehandlers and wheel loaders in one machine concept. This makes this all-rounder very popular with road builders, paving contractors and city services. A quick-change system (from excavator bucket to pallet fork, from crane arm to demolition hammer), 360° swinging loading shovel bucket, fully adjustable boom with mitre system and loading shovel undercarriage make the Mecalac multi-excavator so special.

Mecalac crawler excavators were developed especially for work in urban areas, for cable laying and road construction, among others. This range guarantees a compact design, simple operation and ergonomic comfort for the operator. Meet a unique concept: a three-piece excavator arm with hydraulic miter system and quick-change system. The enormous lifting capacity of this machine connects the dots.

Last but not least, we present the Mecalac mobile excavators. These machines were also developed for urban work, with the advantages of the mobile excavator combined with the many assets of a tracked excavator. By lowering the MWR's center of gravity compared to its competitors, Mecalac revolutionized the world of mobile excavators. The design was developed to meet demanding situations and complex deployment, with work requiring a compact and strong machine. The result? A multifunctional and ultra-stable machine with XS dimensions and XL lifting power.
