Equipped with its own hydraulic system, this chipper has no trouble with branches up to 150 millimeters in diameter.
Even more powerful is the TW 230HB. It is equipped with a gasoline or diesel engine, a hydraulic feed of 230 x 160 millimeters, and a braked high-speed wheel set. Due to its low dead weight (less than 750 kilograms), a B driver's license is sufficient to work with it. The possible throughput is over 5 tons per hour. Those who need to work "off road" should choose a Timberwolf chipper on tracked undercarriage. This type is available with two feedthroughs, one of 16 and one of 21 centimeters. The tracked undercarriage features two speeds. Thanks to its hydraulically adjustable tracks, the TW230 VTR model can pass through openings as small as 80 centimeters. This makes this version ideal for places that are otherwise difficult to reach.
