Compact wheel loaders and telehandlers customized 2021
The T4512 enjoys four-wheel drive with low center of gravity for optimum maneuverability.

Compact wheel loaders and telehandlers tailored for 2021

Repeatedly, both personally and professionally, we have had to cut corners. However, anyone working in gardens or parks has long known how important this quality is. For machines, too, it is an essential quality that makes work and life easier.

The German machine builder Weidemann, a subsidiary of Wacker Neuson SE since 2005, prioritizes various properties in the production of machines and components. In addition to strength, safety and flexibility, maneuverability is a central pillar. The compact dimensions of wheel loaders, articulated loaders and telehandlers, combined with four-wheel drive and a limited turning radius, ensure that the machines are easy to operate and maneuver even in tight conditions. This also immediately means more efficient and, consequently, cost-effective work.

Hoftrac 1280

A compact construction, low center of gravity, small turning radius and powerful engine power have characterized the Weidemann Hoftrac series for years. This is no different with the 1280, one of the heavier models in the series. The wheel loader comes standard with a 3 cylinder Perkins Stage V engine, twin lift cylinders and 40-ton axles with engageable limited slip differential, and has an inside turning radius of 726 mm. An articulated pendulum hinge, which allows front and rear carriages to move independently of each other, further ensures that the machine adapts to any uneven terrain without any problems, and thanks to the combination of hydrostatic four-wheel drive with a brake-inch pedal, it is possible to drive slowly and to the millimeter in crawl mode at full speed, even while lifting loads.

Hoftrac 1390

The 13-Series has also been a fixture among Hoftracs for many years, and with the 1390 it recently received a new and improved model. Not only was it fully aligned with Stage V emissions standards, but the articulated loader also received a fundamental upgrade in other areas. For example, the 1390 is equipped with the electronically controlled travel drive ecDrive (Electronic Controlled Drive), which makes it easy to control the machine according to requirements. In addition to the standard auto and eco modes, there is an optional choice between a drive mode for an optimized execution of the Y-loading cycle (M-Drive mode) or a drive mode for the use of hydraulically operated attachments. The latter allows very fine adjustment of travel speeds from 0.10 km/h and guarantees constant drive for the attachment. If the load becomes too high, the machine will, for example, automatically reduce speed so that the attachment can deliver the highest possible performance.

Telehandler T4512

The compact telehandler T4512 - T stands for telescopic, 45 for 4500 millimeters lifting height, 12 for 1200 kilograms payload - was also completely redesigned within the framework of Stage V standards. Not only the reduced dimensions of the machine, but also the four-wheel drive with low center of gravity ensure optimum maneuverability here with an inner turning radius of 821 millimeters. In addition, there is a choice of three types of steering in each case: in addition to the standard all-wheel steering for full power and maneuverability, you can also opt for the faster front-wheel steering or the high-precision dogwalk steering. This allows for sideways driving and thus precise maneuvering even in most tight spaces. The patented assistance system VLS (Vertical Lift System), by the way, also simplifies work in complex operating environments. Indeed, the partially automated telescoping movement and nearly vertical lifting and lowering movement provide increased stability, safety and maneuverability.
