From drawings to work instructions, photos, emails and time records
Using mobile solutions, INFOGROEN has been trying to simplify the work of garden contractors and other green professionals for more than two decades. The multifunctional Vision-Mobile app is the latest exponent of that ambition. "With Vision-Mobile, garden contractors have all information immediately at hand," said John Willemsen, co-founder and commercial director at INFOGROEN.
Drawings, work instructions, photos and e-mails could already be accessed via Vision-Mobile, but since its launch two years ago, the app has not stood still. For example, INFOGROEN is continuously adding new features, most recently scheduling and leave requests.
One of the most important functionalities, according to Willemsen, is hour registration. "With Vision-Mobile you easily book hours of people, machines and materials. In doing so, you immediately distinguish between productive and non-productive hours such as travel time."
Through the dashboards, you can then easily monitor booked hours or outstanding leave days. Employees thus get a clear insight into their own hours and project managers can quickly assess exactly how a project is progressing.
Complete project files can be accessed through Vision-Mobile, but communication is also a central part of the app. "Site managers are in quick contact with both the office and the client via Vision-Mobile. That gives peace of mind: after all, if there is a problem, you easily transfer the question to the right person. And if the planner suddenly receives a sick call, he can adjust the planning immediately via his tablet or phone."
"The app is suitable for every employee," emphasizes Willemsen. "In fact, you easily divide different roles in the app so that everyone has exactly the information and functionalities they need. In addition, Vision-Mobile is also integrated into the back office. So whether you use the app on location or in the office: you always have all the insights online to hand."
