Husqvarna, one of the world's leading manufacturers of forest, park and garden products, is pushing the standard with the launch of two new cordless chainsaws. The Husqvarna T540i XP® chainsaw with top handle and the Husqvarna 540i XP® with rear handle have been designed and developed in cooperation with professional tree specialists. The additional battery power is complemented by agility, ergonomics and a user-friendly interface with quick operation.
The new chainsaws are powered by the recently launched Husqvarna BLi200X (T540i XP®) or Husqvarna BLi300 (540I XP®) batteries, and their capacities are therefore in line with the 40cc gasoline-powered chainsaws for professional users. They are thus ideal for felling trees and for smaller felling jobs. The completely rethought and optimized system provides more than 30 % extra power compared to the Husqvarna cordless chainsaws of the previous generation. Thus they can now be used for applications hitherto reserved exclusively for petrol chainsaws.
Thanks to Husqvarna's battery technology combined with the latest X-Cut saw chain SP21G and Husqvarna X-PRECISION bar, the new Husqvarna T540i XP® chainsaw offers cutting capacity for felling thick logs and branches. At the same time, it is fast and maneuverable enough to complete smaller tasks. The Husqvarna 540i XP® with rear handle delivers the same power and is the perfect all-round saw for all ground work. With the 540i XP® is the choice of a 36- or 40-cm saw blade, the T540i XP® Can be supplied with a 30 or 36 cm saw blade.
A professional arborist may be working 20 m above the ground, in an aerial work platform or on the ground requiring versatile and easy-to-handle tools. The new Husqvarna chainsaws feature an advanced, user-friendly interface for quick operation and balanced saw bodies that provide maneuverability for complicated cutting jobs. Battery status is easily visible on the newly developed intuitive interface, and the chainsaw starts and stops at the push of a button. One of the advantages of a cordless chainsaw is that there are no direct emissions. The user is also less exposed to noise and vibration, reducing the strain on the body. The new battery chainsaws are compatible with the Husqvarna Fleet Services App.
To cope with the daily work of tree specialists, only high-quality materials and durable components were used, resulting in a robust chainsaw. The saws meet protection class IPX4 so it is possible to use them in all weather conditions.
