The new Husqvarna Ceora platform is a revolutionary autonomous lawn care solution for lawns up to 50,000 m2. Quiet and emission-free*, the powerful Husqvarna Ceora mows autonomously and systematically within virtual limits.
Husqvarna is taking commercial lawn care into a new era. The first gasoline-powered commercial riding mower was invented in 1902, but now there is a better way to maintain lawns. Husqvarna creates great solutions that allow everyone to maintain their lawn safely, without noisy or polluting machines.
The Husqvarna Ceora allows public and commercial property owners, sports field managers and golf course operators to automate lawn mowing. This allows staff to concentrate on tasks that add more value.
"This truly revolutionizes the industry and marks the beginning of a new era in commercial lawn care," said Valentin Dahlhaus, Vice President of Husqvarna.
A pioneer in robotic mowers, Husqvarna has changed the way millions of people mow their lawns since 1995 with the iconic Husqvarna Automower® robotic mower.
The Husqvarna Ceora is a robotic mower designed specifically for demanding professional applications. It is economical, safe and delivers first-class results with low noise and zero emissions*. The Husqvarna Ceora operates completely autonomously within a defined area. The systematic mowing technology allows mowing in parallel paths. One machine can cover an area of up to 50,000 m2 cover.
Utilizing Husqvarna's industry-leading EPOS technology, a high-precision satellite navigation system with 2-3 centimeter precision, the new Husqvarna Ceora offers a new level of flexibility and performance. EPOS technology makes it possible to work without physical boundary wires, allowing rapid digital redefinition of the working area. This allows flexible use, aeration and scarification of the lawn without risk of damaging the wires.
In recent years, Husqvarna introduced several groundbreaking digital solutions and robotic mowers for commercial lawn care, including Husqvarna Fleet Services, Automower® Club, Husqvarna Automower® 550 EPOS and Husqvarna Automower® 535 AWD.
The new Husqvarna Ceora is Husqvarna's first step toward fast, large-scale and systematic mowing technology. The platform is future-proof and scalable. In the future, the platform can be further adapted to specific needs, using accessories such as a line puller or fairway deck. It can also be linked to other robotic mowers and provides the operator with instant and continuous digital monitoring and control of multiple units.
In short, a holistic solution for lawn professionals looking for a systematic approach to lawn mowing that not only provides exceptional lawn quality, but also frees up time for other tasks at the same time. More details about the new Husqvarna Ceora will be presented in summer 2021.
The lawnmowers will be delivered to customers beginning in early 2022.
Valentin Dahlhaus, Vice President of Husqvarna said, "With this innovative, high-quality and reliable solution, we are transforming lawn care. For example, the entire Great Lawn in Central Park, 55 acres in size, can be managed by five Husqvarna Ceora robotic mowers working around the clock. Everything is digitally monitored and managed."
* Zero emissions means no direct emissions during operation.
