Husqvarna unveils new generation of professional 90cc chainsaws

These are two models, Husqvarna 592 XP® and Husqvarna 585, both enormously powerful and efficient with an agility unusual for chainsaws of this power. As a result, they offer the user maximum productivity both for forestry work and urban tree maintenance, for example.

Close collaboration with experts in the field

To develop the latest generation of professional chainsaws, Husqvarna worked closely with professional forest and tree workers from around the world. In this way, the brand combines the diverse needs of professionals and offers users unparalleled quality.

Husqvarna is therefore launching not one, but two 90cc chainsaws. The more advanced of the two, the 592 XP®, is designed specifically for the most demanding users and offers the best cutting capacity[i] and power-to-weight ratio on the market[ii]. In turn, the model 585 is intended for professionals who need a sturdy, easy-to-use yet powerful chainsaw.

592 XP® - Ultimate power for the most demanding user

The Husqvarna 592 XP® is a sturdily built chainsaw that performs well in tough conditions. It offers an unbeatable combination of low weight and high power, which definitely improves efficiency. The 592 XP® can effortlessly handle 36" saw blades and is available with the new, lightweight Husqvarna X-Tough Light blade.

To make full use of its outstanding cutting capacity, it is best equipped with X-Cut C85 and C83 chains. Combined with new lightweight components and the X-Tough Light saw blade, it is significantly lighter than its predecessors. Thanks to its lower weight, optimized balance and improved handle shape, it allows for more comfortable and longer work. Thanks to the X-Torq engine, emissions are lower while performance reaches unseen levels. Easier starting technology based on AutoTune 3.0 ensures that the engine starts quickly, regardless of park or forest conditions.

The Husqvarna 592 XP® is not only very powerful and comfortable to use, it also offers Bluetooth®-connectivity. The chainsaws can thus be equipped with Husqvarna connectivity equipment and linked to Fleet Services to track the product and facilitate maintenance and management. The connectivity equipment will be available starting this fall.

585 - Modern performance with traditional technology

The Husqvarna 585 excels in performance and maneuverability, but what really sets it apart from other chainsaws is its simplicity and sturdiness.

This is a tremendously durable chainsaw that starts and operates in all conditions. The sturdy and durable design effortlessly handles 36" saw blades, and is compatible with the new solid X-Tough blades.

With its easy-to-adjust needle carburetor, improved balance and comfort features, it seamlessly pairs traditional technology with modern advances. This is the powerful and robust chainsaw that professionals can count on to fell even the largest trees in difficult conditions. As with the 592 XP, the X-Cut C85 and C83 chains guarantee the 585's outstanding cutting capacity. In addition, the X-Torq engine ensures fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.
