The Mudcontrol slab has many advantages and presents itself as a unique and durable system for paving paddocks, parking lots, passageways, yards, meadows ... Sufficient grip

A Mudcontrol plate weighs 7 kg and measures 50 x 50 x 5.3 cm. The plates can be installed in two ways: with the closed (holes) side up or with the open (grate) side up. "With the closed side up is the most popular application considering it addresses mud problems in yards, workshops, paddocks, meadows, paths, stables ...," said René Feuler. "A pattern (stamp) is provided on the surface that ensures sufficient grip, even in freezing weather. In turn, the open side to the top is an ideal application for creating slopes. In this position, the Mudcontrol sheets retain water and prevent the surface from drying out." Subsequent application of sharp sand to the slabs provides reinforced grip on slopes, which certainly provides additional support for horses....

Ready-made solution

The great popularity of Mudcontrol, both in equestrian centers as well as increasingly in the construction industry, is easily explained. Rene Feuler: "Mudcontrol is a fast, effective and ready-to-use solution for all mud problems. Thanks to their light weight, they can be placed by anyone, directly on the muddy ground. Thus, the ground does not need to be worked, paved or excavated. The slabs are also particularly ecological and durable. Moreover, the plates are perfectly reusable. The user-friendly slide-in system allows you to create a dry surface very quickly. The slabs form a solid surface and will not sink into the ground, even with heavy and intense traffic. Permanent semi-paving

Although Mudcontrol slabs lend themselves perfectly to reuse on construction sites, they can also be used perfectly permanently, for example as semi-paving for parking lots, driveways, landscaping ... "In this way, Mudcontrol is an excellent ecological alternative to a more traditional product such as concrete or rubber tiles. With the Mudcontrol slabs, rainwater infiltration is guaranteed, something that is a very important concern today given our historically low water levels. Mudcontrol is thus, due to its water permeability, an excellent ecological alternative to traditional pavements (concrete, clinkers ...). We see when using our slabs that after a few months grass grows through again and the subsoil stabilizes," concludes Rene Feuler.

Hype

In 2017, Mudcontrol saw the light of day in the UK and it is still hype. René Feuler: "In Belgium we started up in April 2020 and here too it quickly became a great success. Mudcontrol therefore distinguishes itself in several areas from other applications such as gravel grids, grass tiles, rubber mats and paddock grids. They can indeed be placed directly on the mud and without preparation or surfacing and they do not disappear into the ground after intensive use or extreme weather conditions. A great additional advantage, especially for the construction and infra sector, is that you can easily remove the slabs and reuse them elsewhere, making them an ideal solution for large and small construction sites as well."  

Green-recycle-wall  

Made of the same material, but with a totally different function is the "green-recycle-wall" system, produced in the UK, but soon also available and if required installed in the Benelux. The walls, extremely suitable for the realization of retaining walls, for example, are made of recycled polymers from bags, packaging, car bumpers and bottle caps, among others. With a lifespan of more than 120 years, green-recycle-wall presents itself as a particularly sustainable product and a worthy ecological alternative to concrete.
