Launching new echo machines in 2023

EuroGarden is an official importer of ECHO. These hand-held garden, park and forestry machines, developed by Yamabiko of Japan, are appreciated by both professional and private users. In a previous edition of Greenpro, we highlighted the ECHO DPAS-2600, a 56V battery-powered multi-purpose machine with a basic motor and seven available attachments. Curious to see what battery-powered machines Yamabiko will launch in 2023?

All of Yamabiko's new machines always deliver on their promises. For example, a five-year warranty applies for private use, while a two-year warranty applies for professional/commercial use. In addition, you enjoy a "100% professional grade": every machine manufactured by the manufacturer meets the highest professional standard. In practice, this means that every ECHO machine is tested in harsh conditions. Last but not least is Japan Technology, the reputation for quality engineering and technology.

In short, the ECHO X-Series tools are the machines for the demanding professional user and the best in their class. All new battery-powered machines in the 56V series have this label.

Overview

In 2023, ECHO will release a number of new 56V battery-powered garden machines, all of which meet the most stringent standards and values. Specifically, these are the DCS-2500, DPB-2600, DHC-2200R and DHC-2800R.

The DCS-2500 is the latest lightest professional chainsaw on 56V battery. This chainsaw is a variant of the DCS-2500T widely acclaimed by arborists, but with a rear handle. This garden tool weighs only 2 kg without bar, chain and battery, bringing the operating weight (including battery) to around 3.2 kg. Thanks to this low weight and the wrist rest, this saw provides little strain on the user and is very maneuverable and recommended for pruning from the ground.

With the new DPB-2600, you have a powerful leaf blower on 56V battery with a maximum blowing force of 17 Newtons. The turbine of this leaf blower draws air in through both sides, making the leaf blower very compactly designed and generating no counter-rotating force.

Professionals are also looking forward to the launch of both the DHC-2200R and the DHC-2800R, two new ultra-lightweight 56V battery-powered hedge trimmers with blade lengths of 60 and 75 cm, respectively. These units weigh only 4.0 and 4.2 kg with battery! Both types have a rotating handle (in five positions) and are a professional version, with a completely redesigned bearing housing, movable blades for easy maintenance and a lubrication nipple.

Another important asset is that the blade speed is adjustable in two positions according to the hedge to be trimmed (High 4,600 and Low 3,200 cuts per minute). The blades are sharpened on three sides, which always guarantees a sublime cutting result. Also important to mention is that the DC motor has an external rotor, which ensures constant torque and features an alternating direction of motor rotation (changing the direction 50/50 extends the life of the transmission and serves as an anti-blocking function).

Also on the way: new 2-stroke machines

In addition to these battery machines, ECHO will also introduce new 2-stroke machines in 2023: the CS-4010, CS-4920, RM-3020T and CSG-7410ES-12. 

With the CS-4010 and CS-4920, ECHO expands its range with two new all-round chainsaws for demanding users, such as on and around a farm. The CS-4010 with 40 cm3 engine is the lightest chainsaw in its class, weighing only 4.3 kg. In turn, the CS-4920 with 49 cm3 engine is "the best in one package," with a peak power of 2.6 kW and a weight of 5.1 kg. Cutting performance is better than comparable competing machines, while maintaining low vibration (4.4/4.0 m/s).

The RM-3020T is a new back-borne brushcutter, which excels with a very low weight of just 9 kg, a professional 2-stroke engine and high-quality transmission for frequent use. This brushcutter comes with the well-known High-Torque cutting system with very high torque and a cutting width of over 50 cm.

Last in line is the CSG-7410ES-12, a cutter with a 30 cm/12" disc diameter and an adjustable guard without attachments. Like the CSG-7410ES (with 35 cm disc diameter), the CSG-7410ES-12 has a patented 4-stage air filtration system.
