The Coenraerds company from Arendonk, near the border with Tilburg, recently acquired a modular grapple module. An existing sorting grapple was already in place, but the versatility of the new solution from Tramac Benelux allows for a 100% multipurpose solution on various sites for a small additional cost.
In this case, an industrial site in the Genk industrial zone had to be cleared for new construction; the solution was either to cut down all the trees manually or automatically with the Modularis MD20.

Ultimately, the job was completed in one day using the MD 20 with wood chippers. In a single movement, the tree can be cut and clamped to be laid down or fed directly into the chipper.
The customer Coenraerds now has a module with wood buckets and sorting grab buckets; ground buckets are delivered for other applications in construction. Additional buckets are on average 25% of the value of the total machine, representing a saving of 75% compared to purchasing new machines!
Changing scales on a job site takes about 5 minutes.
