West Flanders-based Senex is expanding its portfolio with the exclusive distribution of GMT Equipment. "The Dutch GMT Equipment has guaranteed proven quality in rim grabs for years. Their innovative character and approach to let companies work faster, more efficiently and safer fits perfectly with our company vision," says Kim de Gruyter, manager of Senex.
"The progressive rim grabs are a logical addition to our existing range. In this way we can offer a total solution to arborists, but equally to municipal authorities and government agencies. Safely pruning or removing trees after storm damage, for example, becomes a piece of cake. The felling gripper helps to use man-hours more efficiently," adds co-businessman Pieter Decock.
Thanks to the GMT Equipment rim grab, your basic machine is multi-purpose. You mount the GMT rim grab with ease on the hydraulic line of any mobile crane, truck crane or other crane that now has a wood grapple or other grapple attached. The GMT felling head fits any base machine with a crane, such as on a truck, excavator, telescopic handler, tractor, outrigger and skidder.
GMT Equipment's new models of felling heads have been specially developed to enable the retention of tree parts after the moment of cutting. Here, not only the tilt cylinder of the felling head is blocked, but also the movement in all directions in the cardanic suspension. That means: flexible docking and fixed removal at the push of a button! Its design and operation were recently patented.
