For the meat-processing industry, for example, the company makes broaching machines, meatball formers and hamburger makers. Among green professionals, it is known for its FleXiever screening machines and shaker screens. These can be supplied in various standard versions, or in an adapted customized version according to the customer's needs.
For individuals and green professionals who only rarely need to sift soil, SMO developed the smallest brother in the FleXiever family: the FleXiever Garden. This is an electrically driven single-deck mini-sieve in wheelbarrow model, which is light and therefore easily movable. The sieve with sifting surface of 92×61 centimeters can be easily loaded with a shovel or a small conveyor belt. The FleXiever Garden is also often used by companies in the industry for steel removal, and by technical schools.
For most common applications, a shaker screen from the Mini Screener range is appropriate. These are available stationary with fixed base, on casters or in a trailer version. The machines have a screening area of 183×90 centimeters and a low-noise 230V-0.52 kW electric motor. The simplest version, weighing 260 kilograms and with a dumping height between 132 and 150 centimeters, is mounted on sturdy casters and equipped with lifting eyes.
All Mini Screeners can be filled with a mini excavator, bobcat, shovel or conveyor belt. Their compact screens are suitable for various materials, such as compost, black soil, sand, wood chips, granules, biomass, insects, charcoal, potatoes, seeds, etc.
Equipped with a 3-meter conveyor belt, the Mini Screener MC is one of the most compact machines in its segment. Its mobility is further enhanced by the presence of a tow bar and a lifting yoke. With the Mini Screener Big Bag, the screened material can be collected immediately in a Big Bag. The vibrating motor is infinitely adjustable and the capacity is 10-15 t/h. A further development of this is the Mini Screener XL, equipped with two screening surfaces placed back to back, allowing you to screen in three fractions.
The Mini Screener is also available in a trailer-mounted version for added portability. The MS Trailer Basic is specifically designed for companies engaged in soil testing. The Mini Screener is placed on the U-shaped chassis of a trailer (430 kilograms) with intermittent wheel axle. Manual sorting out is possible at the screening deck, and the machine can be equipped with a misting system.
The MS Trailer version is additionally equipped with a 2-meter-long conveyor belt. When sieving, the machine turns 90° with respect to the direction of travel, creating a free passage. Because of its compactness, this version is very popular with garden contractors and rental companies.
These and other machines from the FleXiever range can be purchased from SMO Machinebouw. Those who only need an occasional screening machine can also rent it from one of the rental companies SMO cooperates with (list on request).
For very specific and less common applications, you can always consider having SMO Machinebouw design and build a special custom sieve installation.
