Cofabel is mainly known as the exclusive importer and distributor in Belgium of John Deere agricultural, garden and park machinery and equipment for the maintenance of golf and sports grounds. The American brand has existed for 184 years and is the undeniable market leader, with a solid reputation.

Besides John Deere, Cofabel - a subsidiary of Group Arvesta, main supplier for agriculture and horticulture in Belgium and best known to the general public for Aveve - distributes other prestigious brands such as Kramer, Wiedenmann, Infinicut, Greenworks, Jensen, Turfco, Smithco, Wessex and GKB.

John Deere and Kramer

Cofabel is firmly market leader in specialized machinery for the maintenance of golf courses in Belgium. The Americans from John Deere play an important role in this. Indeed, John Deere Golf has a very complete range of walking and riding mowers for greens, fairway mowers, trim, surrounds and rough mowers, and so on. 

In addition, Cofabel also distributes exclusively for Belgium the German brand Kramer, a medium-sized manufacturing company that attaches great importance to its own research and development. Kramer distributes telehandlers and wheel loaders in various European markets. All Kramer brand products are characterized by advanced technology and are rock solid, high quality and meticulously finished. 

First true organic farmer

From Kramer a few years ago, a hundred percent electric wheel loader was sold in Belgium for the very first time. The first was for organic farmer Frank Lambert from Gistel. On his organic farm in Zevekote, he keeps dairy cows and pigs. Lambert also grows beets, corn and spelt. He uses the machine every day to clean stalls and fill feeders.

As an organic farmer, he naturally values sustainability. There are solar panels on the stables and a small windmill is coming to the farm in the fall. 

The electric version of the farm vehicle is more powerful than the diesel model because it has two motors. No separate charger is needed for charging, as with most electric cars. Everything necessary is attached to the battery. To charge it, all you need is a simple power outlet. With a full battery, organic farmer Frank can work for five hours.

New: Greenworks

In its never-ending search for top brands, Cofabel now offers Greenworks electric lawn machines. But these are not just any electric lawn machines. They are low-noise and cause very little vibration, making them ideal for working for long periods of time. Also, they are extremely powerful, due to well-thought-out use of top technology. Because because of the unique 24, 40 & 60 volt application - with double grounding for safety! - the battery charges faster than it discharges. Thus, when using a 4 Ah battery, you reach 1 hour working time at full load.

Reference brands only

Cofabel prides itself on partnering only with brands that are references in their industry. Thus, for their wood chippers, they work together with the German company Jensen, lord and master of park, garden and forestry since 1884. And just this year, the partnership as official distributor for Infinicuts - battery-powered cylinder mowers - was renewed for Belgium. This has resulted in several large orders for a few soccer clubs in the Pro League, including Standard Liege.
