New compact dumpers and mini excavators

To this end, the company only works with world brands such as Komatsu, Metso and Portafill. Recently BIA Benelux, through a network of more than thirty Utility Partners, distributes dumpers, forklifts and telehandlers of the Spanish brand AUSA. This opens additional perspectives for the customers, who are mainly situated among garden contractors and public green services.

New Komatsu MR-5 mini excavators

The Komatsu Utility range currently includes 11 mini-excavators, eight of which are of the successful MR-5 type. Four new machines saw the light of day, including the PC18MR-5/1.9T with open cab. This features remarkable digging power and a reach of up to 4.3 meters far and up to 2.3 meters deep. The tracks were also redesigned for less vibration.

The new PC26MR-5/2.5-2.7T is available with open or closed cab and can be transported with a 3.5T trailer. This excavator features an improved digging arm and larger dozer blade, and can be remotely monitored via Komtrax. Its smaller brother, PC22MR-5 is slightly lighter and narrower (1.45 m), making it ideal for narrower environments.

Multifunctional digital dashboard.

The PC58MR-5/5.6T with enclosed cab is the successor to the successful PC55, but with a 290-kilogram higher operating weight and 13% more lifting capacity. Its more compact superstructure allows working in more confined environments. LED lighting and a new multifunction monitor are standard. The spacious cab stands for optimal working comfort. The machine is available with two boom lengths. Also distinctive are the hydraulic line for quick coupler and a number of economy features, such as the Euro Stage V engine, idle shutdown, auto decelerator and six working modes. Also to be noted: the vertical exhaust, maintenance-free DPF and remote monitoring via Komtrax.

AUSA innovations at BIA

AUSA did not stop there either, launching some remarkable new features, making the machines even more performant, economical, safe and user-friendly. These include the new digital display, standard on several new models. It now shows on a single screen more indicators about the operation of the machine. The display also provides access to a series of diagnostic menus, allowing problems to be quickly detected and rectified

The range of AUSA compact all-terrain articulated dumpers now includes six models, from 1 ton to 6 tons in several variants, with high dump or rotary bucket. They are very robust, but compact and maneuverable. There is even a model only 990mm wide, for extra narrow passages. All dumpers have an environmentally friendly Euro Stage V engine and include features such as ECO mode to further reduce consumption. Easy-to-reach service points and service-friendly technical components keep maintenance efficient.

The new DR601AHG 6-ton dumper features an operator station that can be rotated 180% according to the direction of travel. This allows the machine to travel in both directions without having to turn, which is ideal on sites with limited maneuvering space.

The new small D300AHG with 3 tons payload is based on the chassis and drive train of the 4.5-ton model. This makes it extremely robust and reliable. The powerful Stage V engine (without DPF) delivers high torque, allowing the dumper to climb slopes up to 46% with full load without any problems. Great attention was paid to safety, including cameras and a start-up safety device. The D300AHG is now the most efficient and safest 3-ton dumper on the market.

Finally, AUSA has also revamped its range of all-terrain forklifts and telehandlers, aiming for even greater safety and better performance, even on difficult terrains.
