The many advantages of the Truxta electric mini-dumper

The hydrostatically driven mini-knuckle dumper has a payload of 300 or 450 kilos. and is very popular with construction companies, landscapers and municipalities. Since 2016, in addition to the TRUXTA with combustion engine, an electric version has also been on the market. Belgian Etramo, as the main importer of the machines for Benelux and France, is the address for those who want to learn more about these versatile machines.

Battery version

"Electric dumpers are becoming increasingly popular," says Etramo salesman Rico Kerbage. "They are quiet, emission-free and start at the push of a button, but also offer the advantages of the internal combustion engine variant. The permanent all-wheel drive makes the TRUXTA suitable for any terrain, no matter how muddy or difficult to access. It is extremely maneuverable and, with a width of 73 or 85 centimeters, it fits through doors and garden fences without lifting or maneuvering the machine. Simply narrow the wide version by swapping the wheels on the left and right and fitting a narrower bucket. They are both compact and powerful."

In addition, the machines feature an ergonomic, transmission-free squeeze control and a flawless braking system with dead-man's lever. The combination of simplicity and safety makes them great for rental.

Tilt at height

Satisfied customers are quickly found. André Jansen of Jansen Hoveniers in Haarlem has been working with the electric machine for a year and a half and is wildly enthusiastic. "It is so efficient that two days' work is done in one day. The battery lasts more than a working day. In the year and a half we've been working with the machine, we've never been left with a dead battery during a job. And the optional smooth wheels allow it to be driven across a lawn without damage."

André does not need an elevation during tipping, but the TRUXTA 450 offers that possibility with the Power-Tip technology. Tipping is a breeze thanks to the two-stage tipping bucket that remains stable even when fully loaded. In addition, Powertip increases the tipping height to 25 centimeters: perfect for pouring concrete in formwork.

With the Power-Tip-Plus, even a transfer height of 60 centimeters is possible, allowing soil to be dumped on trailers. Both the 300 and 450 can be expanded with additional accessories such as a tow bar or snow plow. Need even more space for light material with considerable volume? An elevation provides 50 percent more bucket volume.
