Rein Drost Machinehandel has been supplying new and used machines to green professionals throughout Europe for 25 years. Besides green maintenance, golf course maintenance is an important market for the company.
Owner Rein Drost: "Our package includes a wide range of machines ideal for golf course maintenance. Both new, electric-powered machines and used, fuel-powered machines."
A great example of a machine that facilitates golf course maintenance is the utility vehicle Yamaha UMX AC. This can perform a variety of tasks. The vehicle is equipped with a spacious cargo box (optional with haulm racks) and has a generous lockable storage space at the front. This allows the green professional to transport tools and other goods quickly and efficiently. A large lithium battery pack makes this compact workhorse suitable for almost any location, such as golf courses, in municipalities or at events. The vehicle is equipped with two separate but comfortable seats and a solid variable suspension. This model comes standard with a half windshield, roof and LED lighting. The Yamaha UMX has no license plate requirement.
Drost: "There are several attachments available for golf course maintenance. Such as the Sweeper 2.0 dew sweeper. This operates completely autonomously electrically with a handheld transmitter and its own battery and, with a working width of 490 cm, efficiently removes dew and grit. The brooms can also be fixed, allowing pressure to be applied, for example to sweep in sand. With the quick-change system, the brooms can also be replaced with rakes. At the front, the vehicle can be equipped with a
electric leaf blower."
Another attachment is the Yamaha UMX tow mat frame, to be used in conjunction with a hydraulic elevator kit. The frame is available in two sizes: 180 x 240 and 240 x 240 cm. In addition, Rein Drost Machinehandel supplies machines from brands such as Baroness, MeanGreen and Canycom and electric quads from the GreenBullith brand. The complete range can be found on the website www.reindrost.nl. For parts dealers can go to the company of the son of Drost: RDM Parts.
