Green practical training par excellence
PCLT is known in Roeselare and by extension throughout Flanders for its extensive range of on-the-job training in agriculture and horticulture, private and public green spaces and industry (mostly logistics training). With the first branch, the PCLT gained its fame. But the GREEN sector has since become just about the most important.
There is an ever-increasing demand from public administrations, landscapers, garden architects and developers of urban projects for high-performance green courses.
Many training courses are green and machinery-related. Today, the machinery sector in the green sector is experiencing not an evolution but a true Revolution.
PCLT has unique machinery for private and public green spaces
PCLT has extensive machinery with some 200 chainsaws, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, brush cutters ...
PCLT aims to have the most innovative machines available for the trainee. Virtually the entire fleet of machines is battery-powered and 2-stroke petrol-driven engines are being phased out. The advantages of the new machinery are clear:

Modern forms of training
Teaching online
By Corona in 2020 and 2021, distance learning has taken a quantum leap. It is an excellent means to have proper knowledge transfer without much travel. However, practice has shown that physical teaching combined with the digital way is most appropriate. PCLT is indeed a centre of practice. So physical teaching at and around the machine and letting the student work with it will always be central.
E - learning
We currently have a good Dutch-speaking, French-speaking and English-speaking forklift training elaborated. This is the first of a whole series of training courses to be rolled out in e-learning format in the coming years.
