It is not only the LEDs that contribute to the long service life of the products. Thus, high-quality glands and materials with high resistance to pressure, water and/or corrosion are also chosen.
A classic shortcoming when installing garden lighting, but essential for a long-lasting installation, is the realisation of a watertight connection. To this end, Suslight not only uses appropriate materials such as UV- and water-resistant flexible power cables, but above all the reliable Quick-Safe Connect System. This waterproof screw connection was developed according to the plug-and-play principle, can only be connected in one way and operates on the safe 24 V DC voltage. A Suslight lighting system may and can therefore be installed by anyone in a simple but above all safe manner.
Even internally in the lighting elements, moisture is not given a chance. Thus, all housings are made of high-quality and integrally watertight material, and the necessary compartmentalisation was provided to reduce condensation caused by the internal materials.
Finally, to support its sustainable solutions and products, Suslight is firmly committed to a sustainable corporate policy. This is vetted by the assessment institute B-Lab and tested against the strict requirements of the B-Lab Impact Assessment as a function of social and economic as well as environmental factors. Just in 2017, Suslight thus received the “Best for the World” recognition in the environmental field.
