The STIHL Group develops, manufactures and sells machines for garden maintenance, forestry, agriculture, landscape maintenance and the construction industry with due attention to safety. STIHL supplements that wide range of products with digital innovations to offer the expected quality to its various target groups. All machines, accessories, protective clothing and supplies are offered through a specialised network consisting of 42 in-house distribution and marketing companies, around 120 importers and more than 55,000 dealers in over 160 countries.

STIHL continuously invests in the future, taking into account the impact on society and the environment. Consumer interests, environmental protection, socio-economic issues and human rights are systematically taken into consideration.

STIHL was founded in 1926 and has been the best-selling chainsaw brand worldwide since 1971. The company is headquartered in Waiblingen near Stuttgart. Production is spread across seven countries worldwide: Germany, the US, Brazil, Switzerland, Austria, China and the Philippines. In 2021, with 20,094 employees, STIHL achieved worldwide sales of EUR 5.06 billion.

STIHL BENELUX was founded in 1985 and today has 80 employees. With a network of 775 dealers, the organisation headquartered in Puurs-Sint-Amands achieved a turnover of 176 million euros.
