Electric three-deck revolution for professional mowing
Something is about to happen in the world of professional green maintenance. There is a machine on the way that is really going to make a difference. The Green Bullith E-Razor is already announcing itself as a milestone. This all-electric three deck mower features a cutting width of 330 centimetres and was designed around the three Ps that make the difference for professionals: power, pricing and productivity.
What immediately stands out is how obvious it all seems: huge productivity, Zero-Turn manoeuvrability, minimal ground pressure and whisper-quiet operation. But behind that simplicity lies years of building, testing and fine-tuning. The concept emerged not on the drawing board but in practice. Think years of experimenting with electric quads, stripping machines, rebuilding them and collecting data. That know-how formed the basis for a three-deck setup that, until recently, simply did not exist in electric form.
“The switch to electric turned out to be a logical evolution. Whereas larger diesel engines always become more complex with increasing cutting widths, with electric the exact opposite applies: a larger battery, a few modified components and the concept was there. By 2022, the first prototypes were running trials, including ‘wings’ that independently followed the terrain. When it turned out that existing manufacturers did not want to produce this concept, it was decided to build a new machine ourselves ... with results,” says managing director Rein Drost.
Today, the first production series is ready and the reactions are unanimous: this is what the market was waiting for. A true three-deck mower that can be used for up to 11 hours in terms of power, manoeuvres faster than any diesel variant and is close to diesel models in terms of price. For a lot of greenkeepers, that low TCO - less maintenance, wear and tear and servicing costs - is a decisive argument.
