MDS found that in Bellon-Mit, an Italian manufacturer that specialises in maintenance technology for sports fields, golf courses and parks. MDS is responsible for the exclusive distribution of Bellon-Mit machines in Belgium, including tailor-made technical support and service.

BM20: for artificial grass that performs like new 

Artificial grass pitches may require less maintenance than natural grass, but that does not mean they are maintenance-free. Infill materials such as sand and rubber need to be topped up and distributed regularly to keep the fibres upright and the surface safe and resilient. This is where the BM20 comes in. This compact machine works with height-adjustable support rollers and interchangeable rotors (polypropylene springs or brushes), depending on the application. The BM20 is suitable for both installation and periodic maintenance of artificial grass pitches. Its light weight and compatibility with compact tractors - from 30 hp upwards - make it widely applicable, from sports clubs to municipal services. Regular use not only improves playing comfort, but also drainage and the life of the pitch.

BM40 and BM45: dethatching without compromise 

For maintaining natural grass pitches, the BM40 and BM45 are two powerful scarifiers that excel in efficiency and ease of use. Bellon-Mit designed the BM40 for intensive use on sports grounds, golf courses and parks. Thanks to the smart blade attachment system, you quickly replace the blades without dismantling the rotor or transmission. The powerful rotor generates a strong air flow, making the machine also usable as a leaf vacuum. A hydraulic collection container ensures neat and efficient disposal of material. With the BM45, you go one step further by combining the same technology with a high-discharge collection system. Ideal if you, as a groundsman, need to collect and immediately dispose of large volumes of organic waste. Available in two models - the BM45-1600 and the BM45-1800 - this machine offers working widths of 1.55 m and 1.75 m respectively. The blade spacing is adjustable (30 or 20 mm), and the machine can work to a depth of 4 cm. Depending on the model, a tractor of 40 to 80 hp is required.

TTRB/TTRA: more than just a flail mower 

Traditional flail mowers often do not meet the high demands of sports fields. That is why Bellon-Mit developed the TTRB and TTRA machines: multifunction mowers with interchangeable rotors (hammers, blades, scarifier blades) and high speed for a fine cut. These machines offer an adjustable cutting depth down to the millimetre, ideal for greens and sports grounds where precision is an essential factor.An additional asset is the dual roller that prevents the scalping effect - a common problem in uneven cuts. The TTRB/TTRA machines are available with ground-level discharge or elevated emptying, depending on conditions.
