Precise cutting and trimming, without hearing protection
The STIHL Group develops, manufactures and sells machines for garden maintenance, forestry, agriculture, landscape maintenance and the construction industry, with due attention to safety. STIHL supplements this wide range with digital innovations to provide its target groups with the expected quality. STIHL continuously invests in the future, taking into account the impact on society and the environment. The new HSA 100 cordless hedge trimmer is a perfect example of this.

Powered by a powerful high-torque EC motor, this machine is cut for maintaining large and perennial hedges. Its quiet operation without emissions allows a professional to work all day with the HSA 100 without hearing protection, even in noise-sensitive environments. Thanks to its 60-centimetre-long, double-sided sharpened blades with large tooth spacing, work progresses well. Moreover, thanks to the anti-vibration system, vibration values are 70 per cent lower than with its predecessor, for even greater working comfort.
The HSA 100 is operated via a rotating multi-functional handle for power-saving work sideways and upwards. The new cordless hedge trimmer also boasts high cutting power to trim even thicker branches effortlessly. And if the blades do get blocked in a thick branch, they turn freely again thanks to the automatic reverse rotation direction. The hedge trimmer gets its energy from a 36V lithium-ion battery from the STIHL AP battery system. This is inserted into the integrated battery shaft, and it can be used even in rain and damp weather (IPX4).

With its 60-centimetre double-sided sharpened blades, the STIHL HSA 100 delivers a clean cut. Thanks to the powerful motor and the large tooth spacing between the blades (34 millimetres), it also cuts through thicker branches. When working close to the ground or against walls, the sword guard protects the tips of the blades from wear.
The new cordless hedge trimmer also impresses with its working comfort and equipment. Via the multi-function handle, the HSA 100 can be intuitively operated and is perfectly balanced in any position. For optimum ergonomics, the handle can be rotated to save power even when cutting sideways and high up. At the same time, the anti-vibration system reduces noise and vibration values: they are up to 70 per cent lower than those of its predecessor HSA 86. Moreover, noise emissions can be reduced to such an extent that hearing protection is not required, even when working with the unit all day. This makes it excellent for use in noise-sensitive environments, such as near schools, hospitals or in residential areas.

The hedge trimmer gets its energy from a 36V lithium-ion battery from the STIHL AP battery system. This system is specially tailored to the needs of professional users and, according to IPX4 certification, can also be used in rain and damp weather.
The STIHL HSA 100 is very easy to integrate with the STIHL Smart Connector into the cloud-based system solution STIHL connected. This allows professional users to manage their machine fleet digitally and get a detailed overview of all machine data, such as running time and age or about scheduled maintenance times and maintenance history.
