Support on all fronts: a dedicated community
The John Deere 4R Series tractors embody the fusion of craftsmanship and technology. Every compact tractor that leaves John Deere's American factory and makes its way to Europe is thoroughly customized to meet the specific requirements of the European market. From metric bolts to emissions standards and safety features, these machines are ready to go.
For John Deere, Cofabel/Cobelal is Belgium's exclusive importer and distributor of agricultural machinery, garden and park machinery and equipment for the maintenance of gardens, parks and golf and sports grounds. "From advice and sales to maintenance and repairs, Cogabel's own sites and local dealers are always on hand to ensure that these top-notch machines can do their job properly. We are part of a global community, allowing everyone to benefit from both local involvement and global expertise."
said Sven Vanluyten, area sales manager for Cofabel/Cobelal.
A common misconception is that John Deere markets only powerhouse tractors for agriculture. But the 4R Series tractors offer advanced features that make work easier even for green sector professionals. And they are therefore no less powerhouses than their big brothers.
"LoadMatch, for example, ensures smooth operation by adjusting engine speed to the load," Sven Vanluyten explains. "Hitch Assist, in turn, simplifies the use of the rear linkage.
This intelligent function connects implements to the hitch more quickly and safely. It allows the operator to stand beside/behind the tractor, move the machine forwards and backwards, as well as raise and lower the rear hitch. In addition, with the optional self-leveling Quick-Park loader and the standard Air Ride seat, work is done comfortably and efficiently."
Thanks to features such as eHydro, a three-speed electronic transmission and Twin Touch pedals, the tractor's performance can be effortlessly adapted to different tasks. This increases efficiency and makes work easier and more precise. In turn, the hydraulic system makes it much easier to drive PTOs, linkages and front loaders. Sven Vanluyten: "John Deere also offers a wide range of accessories and options to adapt a tractor to all kinds of specific needs. Think lift and tow hooks, front and rear fenders, engine and hood protection, different tire options for various applications, and more."
"John Deere Golf also has a very complete range of walk-behind and riding mowers for greens, fairway mowers, trim, surrounds and rough mowers... The American company has also been a leader in connectivity for agricultural equipment for many years. But now, therefore, greenkeepers can also benefit from those specific advantages. JDLink acts as a powerful management tool for the entire fleet of machines and provides detailed 'Loc History' records, with accurate data on machine usage, fuel levels and even diagnostic fault codes."
"In addition, it is possible to set a 'geofence' and a curfew. Both features alert the user to suspicious use, significantly increasing security against theft. Best of all, this software is available for free, both as a convenient mobile app and in an easy-to-use browser-based version. With the knowledge that John Deere will also bring fully electric tractors and commercial mowers to market in the future, we look confidently to what the future holds," said Sven Vanluyten.
