Making grounds work greener
A greenkeeper's best friend: the Polaris Ranger. Compact, maneuverable, safe for the terrain and completely tailored to your needs thanks to accessories such as a heating system and heavy-duty winch. But customization has its price tag, of course. That's why Polaris Benelux introduces two new models: the Ranger 1000 Nordic Pro and the Ranger 500.
“With the Ranger 500 we offer a competitively priced entry-level model and with the Nordic Pro a complete vehicle with cab system and all the comforts,” says Ron Betist, marketing manager at Polaris Benelux. “This way we compete with the cheap Chinese models on the market, but with the quality and durability of Polaris.”

Where Polaris used to offer only customizable models, the Ranger 1000 Nordic Pro is a turnkey powerplant that is deployable from day one. And that's without the extra time and expense of selecting and fitting accessories. “Customers have been asking for some time for a vehicle that is just ready to go upon delivery,” Betist explains. “With our Ranger 1000 Nordic Pro, we offer just that: an ex-factory model with a heating and defogging system, tilt windows, a factory-mounted winch ... all the trimmings for a fair price.”
Technically, therefore, the model is perfectly armed for all greenkeeper tasks, thanks to:
The Ranger 500 is the other newcomer to keep an eye on. Compact and affordable, yet rugged enough for everyday use. With its 500cc engine, nice price tag and familiar Polaris quality, it is a formidable competitor to the cheaper, often less durable alternatives on the market.
“With the Ranger 500, we are also making Polaris accessible to smaller businesses and local clubs,” Betist explained. “The vehicle is perhaps more basic, but built to the same standard of quality as the rest of our lineup. Perfect for those who want to invest smartly.”
The Ranger 500 will be available in the European market in the first quarter of 2026.

Polaris of course also remains committed to accessories and smart additions, as proven by their collaboration with Kärcher Netherlands. Together they developed the Skid: a surface-mounted module with high-pressure cleaner that fits perfectly on the electric Ranger Kinetic ... promising! It is currently undergoing extensive testing to carry the same quality seal as all Polaris and Kärcher products.
“The Skid is three times sustainable,” Betist explains. “You combine an electric vehicle with a battery-powered cleaning system and a water-saving eco-booster. This allows you to work completely autonomously on your sports or golf course, without the need for a plug or water connection. For many greenkeepers and grounds managers, this is really going to be a gamechanger.” With the Skid, you work autonomously for up to forty minutes, thanks to:
Curious about the Skid? Then be sure to stop by the Groene Sector Vakbeurs in Hardenberg, the Netherlands. Which runs from January 13 to 15, 2026. Polaris and Kärcher are sharing a booth there. “We are unpacking our Ranger Kinetic with Skid and will also bring two side-by-sides: the Sportsman 1000 2-Up and the Sportsman XP1000 40th, which was specially developed for the 40th anniversary of Polaris quads,” Betist says.
“The booth will be slightly more compact than last year, but we are taking another step in our cooperation with Kärcher and sharing the booth space (Hall 6: 676-680). Greenkeepers there will certainly experience how our products make their work more efficient.”
And 2026 promises even more. “From September 16 to 19 we will be at GroenTechniek Holland in Biddinghuizen. An open-air fair where we show our full range: from the Ranger 500 and the Ranger 1000 Nordic Pro to the Ranger Kinetic with Skid. 2026 will be a great year for Polaris Benelux.”
