An eye-catcher is the electronic control cockpit with LED display for choice of three operating modes. The built-in cooling air filter protects the motor and electronics for a long service life. The MSA 300 also scores high marks in terms of working comfort: the anti-vibration system limits the transmission of vibration, thus conserving the user's forces. The MSA 300 gets its energy preferentially from the also newly developed AP 500 S battery of the STIHL AP system. This battery's innovative Power Laminate technology delivers a remarkably high energy content and low weight up. In addition, it allows twice as many charge cycles. This gives the battery a clear longer life than conventional lithium-ion batteries.

The new STIHL MSA 300 is currently the most powerful cordless chainsaw on the market with a maximum chain speed of 30 m/s. With three operating modes, the chainsaw can handle the most diverse jobs: felling trees, removing branches, shortening logs or cutting wood for timber structures. The MSA 300 comes standard with the STIHL Light 04 bar and the STIHL 325" RS PRO saw chain. In addition, the machine manages to distinguish itself by its low noise level. Thus, the ideal conditions for use in noise-sensitive locations!

For intuitive operation, the MSA 300 is equipped with an electronic control cockpit with LED display. On it, the user always has a good view of status information and the chain brake. The large lock button, which is easily accessible, provides additional safety in any work situation.

The MSA 300 comes standard with an adjustable oil pump. This allows the oil flow rate to be kept to a minimum during simple jobs, such as branch removal. In demanding jobs, such as felling trees, the maximum oil flow rate in turn guarantees excellent cutting performance. In the MSA 300 C-O version, an active LED indicator alerts the user when there is insufficient oil.

The new STIHL AP 500 S battery was specially developed to provide maximum performance for the MSA 300. Its strengths: a particularly high energy content (337 Wh), low weight (2.0 kg) and, above all, double the number of charging cycles. This means that the battery has a significantly longer service life than conventional lithium-ion batteries. The new battery is part of the STIHL AP battery system for professional users that can also be used in moisture and rain. In addition to the new professional cordless chainsaw, this range consists of 30 more machines for the most diverse applications, including battery packs, backpack batteries with different energy capacities and various chargers.

• Compatible with STIHL connected

The professional STIHL MSA 300 cordless chainsaw can be equipped with the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A. The machine, like the new AP 500 S battery, can thus be easily integrated into the STIHL connected total solution via an app on the smartphone. Companies get a detailed overview of all machine and battery data such as running time, age, charging status, information about future servicing and maintenance history via this application.
