Launching new 82V machines in 2023

As a specialist in garden machinery and parts, EuroGarden is an official importer of the CRAMER brand. CRAMER is constantly tinkering with new applications. Johan Teeuwen, category manager OPE at Eurogarden, looks ahead to the novelties you can expect in 2023.

"Cramer's 82V battery range is designed and developed to suit professionals," said Teeuwen. "With the 82V tools, the brand shifts up a gear to excel not only in quality, safety and reliability, but also in ergonomics and maximum power. Because the 82V platform machines deliver more power with less current than comparable lower voltage systems. Thanks to a lower current, battery cells do not have to operate at maximum load, generating less heat during operation. This, in turn, increases a battery's efficiency and lifespan. It also reduces the risk of sudden interruptions due to overheated cells and motors, which only increases the safety of Cramer tools."

To add strength to the 82V range, Cramer formulates three unbeatable brand promises. 

"First of all, our customers can rely on us thanks to a two-year professional warranty. Previously, this was one year," indicates Johan Teeuwen. "In addition, Cramer also offers a ten-year battery warranty. Such a term is really quite exceptional, and offers our customers additional confidence and comfort. And last but not least, there is the thirty-day cash-back guarantee: so up to thirty days after purchase there is a money-back guarantee on products
of Cramer."

Notable Cramer novelties for 2023

What new Cramer applications can you expect in 2023? Johan Teeuwen highlights the following novelties:

"In 2022, we launched the Cramer 82ZT132, a professional, 82V battery-only powered zero-turn riding mower. This was the first professional riding mower of this type to operate on an 82V platform, which also features a 132 cm steel mulching deck and three 1.5 kW motors. On one battery charge, an operator can mow up to four acres."

"In 2023, we are proposing new, more compact zero-turn riding mowers that have interchangeable batteries: from a minimum of three batteries, you can gradually build up to six, to determine the power of the mower yourself. We offer two machines, each with a cutting width of 107 cm, one of which is equipped with handlebars. Because even though the professional version with levers is very maneuverable, it requires the necessary agility of the user. The version with handlebars - which will be priced slightly lower - is specifically intended for the private individual who, for example, needs to mow a large lawn and cannot get used to stick steering."

"In any case, this new generation of zero-turn riding mowers can boast impressive figures in terms of sustainability and cost savings. Not only do you avoid up to 8.5 tons of CO2 emissions annually, you also realize a total cost of ownership savings of as much as 7,600 euros, calculated over a five-year use."

Within the range of chainsaws, Johan Teeuwen highlights the 82TCS15, an 82V professional 1.5 kW top-handle chainsaw. 

"The 82TCS15 is an exceptionally light and powerful chainsaw with top handle, designed specifically for professional arborists," he points out. "While using this machine, the arborist wears an inconspicuous and comfortable backpack harness on which the battery is mounted. This ensures a very great freedom of movement during tree cutting, and thus super safe working conditions. Also good to know is that the 82TCS15 has a chain speed of 24 meters per second, which is very high for this class."

Cramer's leaf blower category also sets the bar very high in terms of performance. Teeuwen explains, "The new 82B20, 82B22 and 82B26 models - respectively a backpack-mounted model, a handheld machine with an incorporated battery and a model with a hip belt - excel with their robust design, extraordinary blowing power and low weight. The back-carried model can blow up to 26 Newtons, which is exceptional for a battery-powered machine."

"As a final novelty, I refer to the Cramer solutions for charging battery machines on the go," says Teeuwen.
