Lawnmowers with 8-minute quick charge battery

Positec offers professional landscapers several types of lawn mowers. Such as the cordless robotic mower RTK and the Kress Commercial 60V battery self-propelled mower.

"We organized a training for our dealers' technical people in March and they were all very excited about our innovative RTKn robotic mower," says David Mooibroek, regional sales director Central Europe at Positec. Robotic mowers without wire

Kress' RTKn series robotic mowers mow large lawns accurately and efficiently without a boundary wire or fixed reference antenna. So there is no need to install an antenna, as Kress provides its own network. The mowers are suitable for large areas, up to 36,000 m2.  

To establish a virtual boundary, the user simply walks along the edge of the lawn with a trolley, then reattaches the receiver with digital map to the mower. Even if the satellite signal is momentarily lost due to trees or buildings, the mower can continue its route until the signal recovers. The Moving Action Plan (MAP) technology thereby ensures efficient mowing. The mowers feature an obstacle avoidance system and a floating mower deck that adjusts to uneven terrain. 

Batteries for professional use

Kress' 8-minute CyberPack batteries charge fully in eight minutes and have up to 10 times longer life than traditional batteries. In terms of power, they are not inferior to gasoline engines. Advanced cell technology means the battery does not heat up, so it does not need to cool down before charging. When the battery is connected, the accompanying app keeps track of diagnostic data about the battery, among other things. Users can also find all the information for managing all their batteries in the app. 

The batteries can be used in a variety of cordless machines: from grass trimmers and brush cutters to chainsaws, backhoes and self-propelled mowers.

Self-propelled cordless lawnmower

Indeed, for those who do not (yet) opt for a robotic mower, Positec offers another option. The Kress Commercial cordless lawnmower is the first truly cordless solution for commercial use. Like the robotic mowers, it features the Kress 8-minute CyberSystem quick-charge battery system. The mower has a cutting width of 51 cm and the accompanying grass bag has a volume of 88 liters. The Kress-built brushless motor delivers exceptional power for mulching, bagging or side discharge. With a reinforced steel deck, IPX4 waterproofing, front bumper protection, trim side wear plate and rubber tires, this mower is well suited for everyday gardening tasks. The maximum torque of 9.5 Nm allows gardeners to tackle challenging jobs such as wet, deep and dense grass.
